But he does? he caps both atk down and def down along with mist without any penalty whatsoever. His buff has great synergy with the end game team which can be prolonged quite easily considering the katana team composition, and unlike Thalatha, it cannot be dispelled, whereas Thalatha is pretty much doomed by that, 4th ability included.
Moreover, his ougi also provide echo damage for 2.5 turns. Cain doesn't have the same damage output, but he has a bigger impact overall on the earth team to the point Thalatha advantage isn't really that great in comparison.

A lot of people actually swapped her for him, and he is practically staple. The usual katana composition is now Cain, Brodia and Okto.　It is quite obvious when you see that team in action against Ubaha HL. Of course, in this very specific case, Thalatha still has some use as her debuff down is actually elem down, so it will hit ubaha HL in certain phases where Cain's wouldn't have any effect.　But as stated above, her actual benefits are screwed by Ubaha recurrent dispel.

He is, when I see the Earth Lord's DPS gone up up by like over 20% in UBaha HL, I shudder in fear.
If you didn't notice, his buff is unremovable and gas stupidly high synergy with a completed Brodea weapon grid and omega katana. It also permanently fix Earth's low DA problem.
It hits ridiculous level when synergizing with Octo.

He pretty much made 3 useless outside one turn damage burst.

it is, anything that have exp + drop increase is useful, especially that Nobiyo have also 20% of damage and Hp, which make him ideal for auto team, his call is also very very good

Yeah, he's a weaker White Rabbit with a better call and better availability, very good for newbies. I'll use him a lot next time I'm farming mats at half AP.

Or you get help and get carried while you become a Thor bot.
