But I am very impressed with both Gotham and the Flash this season.

I wasn't really feeling Gotham until... not this week's episode, but the one before that. The one that started with the Penguin meeting Gordon in the villa. It's been hitting its stride since then.

Does anyone else get the feeling that the characterization of this Flash would better fit Wally West? That's the feeling I get when watching, especially the intro-monolgues

I think of Wally as more of a wise-ass, like Spider-Man. Barry is more of a doofy geek (until he "grows up", at least), like Peter Parker.

Wally is more confident... At least he was until the New 52 made him a, yet another, angsty teenager.

Barry, at least in the New 52, is very plain. He's character starts and ends with being the "nice guy", so the quirks added to this live-action version of Barry are greatly appreciate.

I will say the response to this film in general is a bit ironic.

"Sinister Six" - Oh god what is Sony thinking? Villains without a hero!?

"Suicide Squad" - Woo, this will be awesome!

My feelings on both are the same. It could be ok, just not sure I'm that hyped about a movie purely about villains. But maybe I'm just in a minority that I go to see Batman not the Joker, or Spider-Man and not a Goblin. Those are important characters to making the whole thing work, but it's not the whole thing.

I'm sorry but the two is not the same

Sinister Six" is a team of bad guys that wants to kill Spider-Man if Spider-Man is not in the movie what the hell they are doing

Suicide Squad is is a team of bad guys Trying to reduce prison sentence through doing dangerous missions for the government

^^ Pretty much this. I cannot fathom what the purpose of a Sinister Six movie would even be other than seeing bad guys do bad things?

You can't do a similar thing with both? In the end it's just two teams made up of villains. If you want to do that with the Sinister Six there is literally nothing stopping them from doing that.

Thus why I think the differing views on the topic is just silly.

Strangely enough, I was kind of hoping Dianna Agron would play Supergirl,so this is slight coincidence.

At least it's staying consistently every 5 years rather than getting shorter and shorter.

And that's the silver lining of the day for DC fans!

I wouldn't say it's another reboot exactly, since most of the New 52 character history and elements will still be in place, just a shift in a new direction for the line and certain character elements being dropped which is what I always expected to happen Post-Convergence (the latest event). They're also dropping New 52 branding in general, which makes sense since it isn't really that new anymore .

Heck, we've got Cyborg, Martian Manhunter, Starfire, and Black Canary ongoings coming out of this. Not much I can really complain about, especially when I love Starfire's new costume and seeing Black Canary in fishnets again .

The new changes are not a reboot at all. We have 2 months of pre-New 52 stories, but then almost all of the New 52 books will continue, except without the New 52 name.

At most, a couple of pre-New 52 aspects will be carried over as leftover from Convergence, which is probably the real reason why they are doing all of this...
