The lyrics are quite nice and it definitely expresses Sheryl's feelings for Alto.

OST comes out the 8th of October, really looking forward to hearing the full version of Yousei/Fairy. Listened to the part in ep 22 about 30+ times already...

Both Yousei and Azure Ether are very sad, but AE lyrics are poetic and ambiguous while Yousei is full of honest and straight-forward feelings from Sheryl's heart I think Gabriel did a better job writing lyrics for Yousei.

Anata no Oto never comes close to those two in term of emotional level.

In the Sheryl/Alto scene in episode 22, is that Kirakira that's playing in the background? The bgm sounded like the somber last half of the track.

It's cause of the tone of the song. They gave Ranka a bunch of cutesy and light pop songs (minus Aimo/Aimo the death version) while Sheryl has a lot of upbeat tracks. It's also equally effective using soft melodic tracks.

I'm gonna predict that the last episode has Ranka singing from space in a juxtaposition with Sheryl singing the same song on Frontier. Hopefully not Lion.

How would Ranka even know Lion in the story ? It hasn't even been written at this point.
