Ahahahaha, oh wow. The penguins! Penguins!!! Last week's episode was awesome, but Beethoven's Musik power-up was just something else.

And oh yes, gyoza is serious business, but at least Beethoven has managed to get it out of his system for now. (Hopefully.) The flashback was unexpectedly sweet and heartwarming, well, until Mozart ruined it.

(And wow, I didn't even recognize Koyasu Takehito until the character started freaking out. Aw, I really do like him the best in comic/light-hearted roles.)

Episode 5

So all that gyoza nonsense wasn't nonsense after all. It turns out that Kanae's dad is some mad scientist or something and he created those classicaloids. He gave Beethoven and Mozart some gyoza and Beethoven has been trying to recreate that taste all this time which he succeeds in doing. More info next week.

I think this got a bit more wtf when Beethoven summoned those emperor penguins to defeat that King rat man. That was really something.

Every time I see Beethoven in this show, I'm becoming more and more of a fan of his.

What a save!

Episode 6

Lol "use your weird as powers and take over the world or something." Kanae's dad is a fun guy. He had Beethoven and Mozart go to Kanae so that they can use their Musik to earn money and pay off that debt. But instead, Bach is earning a whole lot of money with his idol agency. But too bad he isn't doing it for Kanae. Unless he really is earning all this cash for Kanae's dad's debt. You never know what the hell that guy is saying anyway so who knows what he's really planning.

Lol everyone started their Musik together and no one knew what was going on anymore. Bach appears to be the strongest Classicaloid since he nullified all that Musik. Beethoven is also pretty strong as a Classicaloid since he beat Bach's idol last week.

Fun episode. All that randomness going on when everyone's Musik started was lol. And we're getting more info on these Classicaloids and stuff so it's all good enough.

Episode 7

I thought this episode was a bit light on the retarded, but then immediately after, we had Sousuke trying to communicate to Mozart with a language consisting of "mama" lol. Mozart is such a weird fellow. He made the entire mountains off limits because he saved a deer and didn't want anyone to hurt it. Tchaiko-chan was pretty fired up too over this. Lol when Mozart sends everyone into depression after the deer "dies." Beethoven claimed to not have any regrets lol. It was an overall less funny than the previous outings because of less retards lol.

Holy mood whiplash, Batman! Funny, sad, funny, SAD, kinda funny, sad, funny, lololol... what???

Anyway, I never expected Mozart's Requiem to get the Classicaloid treament. I'm kind of speechless...

Also, Schubert is the best. And Sousuke's "Mama monologue" was brilliant. XD As was little Mozart and his mom. Oh god, why. Why.

Kanae, whatever you do, do NOT let Motes watch "Bambi", right?

Lmao, Mozart is totally out of character this week.

The episode however did have a bit of the feels imo. Glad to see that they were able to bring that deer back though. The ending made me lol, poor Mozart got stomped D:

As much as I enjoyed the episode, the musical renditions continue to be the weak link for me. Especially this episode since I love Mozart's Requiem. I just wasn't feeling the song.

Yeah, I also complained about this before - it's really a letdown, especially considering the big names and talent involved. I understand that this is, at its heart, a kids' show and I guess it may be trying to make the "serious classical music" easily accessible to kids and people who may not be interested in it otherwise, but the resulting songs are just not all that good, frankly. (So far I liked Chopin's the best.)

It's also a bit jarring because there's clearly a lot of (not all that serious ) thought and creativity going into the Musik scenes - like in this episode, I loved how Mozart's Requiem had the power to make people confront their sins and repent.

Ah so this is what a "girl's day out" is like in the show. Fun stuff. That karaoke segment made me roll my eyes a bit though.

Most boring episode so far this show has managed to give us. So unfunny. Also, Tchaiko is Tchaikovsky, a bearded old Russian. And just like Lizst, he was turned female, but was turned into a little girl lol. Dammit Kanae's dad. And her wanting to go out with Bach is a bit gay now considering who she really is.

I agree, I really like the visuals for the musik scenes. Honestly, I think they could have done just as well if not better by just letting the songs play straight, instead of trying to "update" them. I think the visuals and the characters add enough of a spice. Oh well, there's always youtube.

Couldn't be further from the truth for me. I laughed and grinned the whole episode. Sousuke secretly following them around and eavesdropping, Liszt being her fabulous self and that karaoke scene. Poor Sousuke, secretly trapped in a room with a bunch of angry women.

I also loved this episode! Especially the karaoke scene, I could relate sooo much. I think I'll have to make my own version of this song to sing at parties... XD The Musik scene was great, too, I loved the whole insane butterfly thing. Liszt is the best.

I really liked this episode as well. I think that it made the best use of Liszt so far. Also it is the first time we have seen Kanae seem to enjoy herself for any length of time.

Episode 9:

I have to admit...Beethoven really knows how to make the most catchy impressions whenever he gets his hands on a new toy. This week, the electric Monster guitar!

Also for some reason, I really like the song the street performer was performing. Hope to hear more of that for rest of the season.

Really good episode, which touched well on the historical Beethoven, I thought.
Schubert is hilarious trying to get sempai to notice him.
I do hope street singer girl's song is on the soundtrack, which I shall totally be buying when it comes out!

Maybe that's why Beethoven talks so loud, It's hold over from going deaf during his life.

Episode 10:

Well this episode was kinda strange to me.

Chopin apparently made a virtual idol, Jolly. Her programming seems more ore less a bit one dimensional although I do find it amusing for their character chemistry. Chopin is a pretty underrated character in this series tbh, so I am glad that he got some spotlight. Jolly is a bit of a generic virtual idol although I think she is capable of showing surprisingly amount of human behavior/personality.

That ending was priceless.

I finally managed to catch up with this, and man, was it worth it. Episode 10 was cute, episode 11 was epic (I haven't laughed this much since, well, Osomatsu-san) and the Beethoven/Mozart vs Bach fight in episode 12 was great, i wish it had been longer. I love Bach's "civilian" look, and his Musik look is awesome, with the half-formal/half-Elvis thing going on.

Apropos Musik, I actually liked Chopin's ending song, it was pretty nice. The rest, though... oh well.

Looking forward to the second cour!
