at first I though "Azure Ether" was entitled Aoi cause she kept on repeating that
word on the song.. even if its Ranka's song i think its totaly fitted to the MacrossF theme in
ep 21..

and I would like to hear the full version.. or better if May'n/Sheryl would sing it

Your guess did come close though, 'cause its full name is Ao no Ether

The lyrics of Azure Ether are a bit... weird (or deep?), I don't understand it at all

I just wish they'd come out with that 2nd soundtrack soon... And make it more orchestral, please. OR release 3 soundtracks...

Does anyone know what the OC stands for in Aimo OC? Cause I keep thinking OverClocked, which is a good description for it, considering it's the most badass sounding synth/vocal song since Yoko Kanno x ORIGA from GitS.

The music of Macross Frontier is one of the best in recent years i heared, last musics of a anime serie with comparable impressions was Honey and Clover season 1 for me, but really the OPs EDs insert songs are all so great it doesnt even matter who has more songs Ranka or Sheryl they are both fantastic.

For some reason, I felt rather sad and sentimental while listening to Azure Ether and watching the ED and looking at the lyrics; very, very sad.

It's a song sung by a girl full of sadness as she heads off on her long journey.
