I don't see why it's far-fetched to think it won't air for a while. Just look at a few things that air next season (Spring Season).
Hidan no Aria - April 19, 2010 Steins;Gate - July 25th, 2010 That's 9-12 months prior to air for both of them. The series with less popularity would have shorter times between announcement and airing, but with all the hype this is getting? And with Unlimited Blade Works hype still stirring things a bit? Include the supposed animation, number of episodes, and story-accurate quality we're going to be getting, and I don't think it'd be too much to think it'll take 12+ months after announcement before airing. Winter's usually not the season you launch a big project, and neither is Summer. That leaves Spring and Fall, and Fall just feels too early for what's being hyped. |

Even if I were to agree with that, it's not like that suit necessarily reflects his body. Anyway, as I recall shoulder width is two to three head widths, when drawing realistic figures. However, bear in mind this is not set in stone, I've seen people in real life that have small heads (or simply big bodies). Since he's technically turning his head, it's possible the artist made a small miscalculation, but I don't think it's a big deal.
