Nippon TV partners with Dentsu (Geneon) to stream Kaiji and Buzzer Beater on Joost...

Story is here

Another example of Japanese finally getting the picture. Free, streamed in the US, with subs... This is all good! Plus Kaiji... who knew that would ever get aired in the US legally?

The article doesn't make it clear if they mean the 2005 Buzzer Beater, the 2007 Buzzer Beater or both. I assume it is both but any further clues on this.

Original animeanime article says it's the one that ran on Wowow in 2005, and then on nippon TV in 2007. So I guess both?

Buzzer Beater was remade IIRC to be more inline with the manga ending.

I applaud their choice of Kaiji, it's such a great and underrated series.

That is false, Buzzer Beater was not remade, it had a sequel.

Edit: sucks this is for US only >_>
