The first details about the second novel (focusing on Hisagi) have started to come out.

Spoiler for :

-Neliel, Grimjow, and Harribel are alive.
-Nimiya is alive and it seem that the rest of the Royal Guard is as well. Apparently as long as a piece of the Soul King's palace remains, they cannot die.
-Mayuri revived Kensei and Rose with his healing pods.
-The reason Shunsui told Ichigo's friends that Ichigo might not return to the human world was because Ichibe's contingency plan/last resort was to seal Ichigo as the new Soul King.
-Hisagi was saved by Orihime.
-Before being put back in Muken, Aizen is confronted by Hisagi about why he killed Tousen. Aizen called a mercy because, had he lived, Tousen would have fallen into despair.

Those are all informations that should have been in the manga. At least we're finally getting them. Anything on Urahara? Given that pretty much no good guy died in the end (only Yamaji and his vice captain?), I'm sure he's alive as well.

• Kyoraku and Ichibe were planning to use Ichigo as a spirit king replacement in the worst case scenario. It’s implied that Aizen had visited the king’s palace in the past and he saw something referred to as “soul society’s original sin” on the grand altar of the king’s palace. Most likely reffering to the sealed Soul King. Ichibee did genuinely not expect Ichigo to win.
• Ichigo does indeed still have all his powers.
• Orihime healed many, many people possibly from both sides.
• Orihime has helped the 4th division heal the Shinigami soldiers, even reviving some of them. However, bodies that have been almost completely destroyed or were outright annihilated can’t be revived.
• In the end, despite Orihime’s efforts, the Shinigami still suffered many losses.
• Hisagi had been healed by Orihime, but it took a few days for him to recover his reiatsu, so he had been in a coma since Lille shot him.
• Hisagi asks him what that “mercy” was, and Aizen explains that if he had let Tousen leave back then, he’d have undoubtedly been healed by Orihime or Unohana. But if Tousen had survived, he’d have fallen into despair and been tormented by his own heart. As such, killing him was an act of mercy for his most loyal subordinate.
• Ichigo being sealed is what Shunsui meant when he told Ichigo’s friends he may not be able to return.
• There was no need to use Ichigo as the Soul King because Yhwach completely absorbed its powers.
• Grimmjow still wants to settle things with Ichigo.
• A special zanpakuto was sealed in the ocean Ichigo evaporated, but its seal was destroyed and the sword stolen while Oetsu was away.
• Aizen wished he could have talked more with Ichigo, but Urahara didn’t let him.
• Ichigo should’ve been the one to seal him, but it was too risky to give Aizen an opportunity to mess with his inner Hollow.
• Ichigo is currently staying at the Shiba Shrine with Isshin and Orihime.

Urahara was confirmed to be alive in the RenRuki novel.

In this one, he, somehow, prevents Ichigo from talking to Aizen after Yhwach's defeat out of fear that Aizen might try another ploy.

Kenpachi's wasnt the axe. He became a berserker who gained immense strength... even beyond his normal strength. So much strength that even his own body was torn apart from using it.

Blind guy = Tosen - loss of senses

Given that we never saw Aizen's Bankai, my theory that the whole reason behind his drive for self-perfection was that he never unlocked his Bankai is still on the table...

Not just a sad love story.

Shunsui's Bankai is an theatre play. It's like -- okay, so his Shikai is 'children's games,' right? Simple performative actions done by children for entertainment, basically.

His bankai is a play in multiple acts: A complex performative action done by adults for entertainment.

Yes, he is a kid, or at least the shinigami/soul version of a kid. According to the RenRuki novel, Hyorinmaru forcibly ages Hitsugaya so that he can use his full power.

Yumichika calls it "Daiguren Hyorinmaru version 2 - nobel son of ice", Ikkaku calls it "Big Daiguren Hyorinmaru", but Matsumoto has the best name: "Daiguren Hyorinmaru Handsome Edition".

I always felt like Bleach would never transition well to a live action adaption. This trailer has done little to make me feel different so far. But we'll see.
