Volume 8 is a bit boring as no new troublesome effect come up. Did they ever explain why a new scar appear? The Young Mai almost felt like the "god" of the world. She have the power to Sakuta back from a better parallel work to his original world. The whole wedding paperwork was the key to let Mai remember Sakuta was so sweet. I think we can no longer call this Adolescence Syndrome as Sakuta's mother was the cause of the world forgetting Sakuta, beside Mai course XD) As for how that girl that exist in parallel world come into existent in prime world is a puzzle as she also remember Sakuta. Potential love rivial? Fububa and Kunimi better show up in the college chapter too...

- Well, author's paranormal plot devices have holes and actually are the weakest part of series. While the strongest part is interactions, dialogues and so on.
So basically, it's new material about Kaede and her problems, introduction of suspicious Mai lookalike loli, Kirishima Touka and exiling sending Shouko-chan to Okinawa.

- New scars are sign of new Adolescence Syndrome. Sakuta believed it was connected to his problem with his mother, but author says that it isn't over. So, the cause is probably different.

- As for Mai lookalike loli, Sakuta believed she was personification of his ability to travel the worlds (and with this basically confessing his a lolicon too ^^).
Some readers believe she's Kirishima Touko.

And I think she might be Sakuta's future daughter. As for the scars... What if the daughter had the same problem as little Shouko-chan and Sakuta sacrificed his heart for her?
The later part means she might be also Kirishima Touko, and thus has a motive to stimulate appearance of that movie advertising donorship.

As for the other possibilities, there's also suspicious child actor with a single mother, and Akagi Ikumi.

- Akagi Ikumi also exists in the main "timeline"/"possibility world".
It's just in the alternative world, Sakuta might had solved her problems, so she fell in love with him and followed him to Minegahara High School, like Sakuta did for Shouko-san.

And as for main world, Sakuta most likely didn't save her, so it's unknown what she feels about him.

- As for Adolescence Syndrome, Sakuta believes that the cause of this one was him forgetting his mother and thus denying her existence.
So, he thinks it was induced by him.

But we can't really use that indeed, since we are entering an university arc! \o/

- And yes, I'm very curious about Kunimi gf situation in uni arc ^^

Though, Kunimi knows about Futaba's feelings and has a reason not to date her, so he'll probably stick with with Kamisato Saki.
This is kinda realistic development ^^; Even the part where wife/gf feels jealousy towards husband's best friend.

Btw, I feel like some characters were modeled after a real people.

I almost can imagine author's dialog with Sakuta's prototype:
Kamoshida-sensei: ... So what would you do in this situation?
IRL Sakuta: I would make a faint jab and then kick bastard right in the balls, and then throw a few good kicks
Kamoshida-sensei: B-but that's won't look too good public image-wise, let's change it to...

Are there any moments in the light novels where Sakuta chest gropes Mai and she likes it? If I was Sakuta, seeing a hottie like that means I would have gotten her pregnant quite a few times by now.

Well, I've read the second volume quite a long time ago, but it doesn't seem that something important was omitted.
Still, light novel and manga have a lot of colorful scenes and dialogues, some of which were omitted in anime adaptation.
I recommend to read ranobe and/or manga when they are translated.

Kunimi is aware for a long time of Futaba's feelings and Futaba knows that too.

So, Sakuta will just show her that if it's her, Kunimi will rush to help her at any hour day or night.
Btw, same goes for Sakuta, #nohomo ^^

As for relationships, Kamisato Saki is still Kunimi's gf and still jelly of Sakuta even during events of vol.9

So basically they'll just reaffirm their friendship.

It felt a bit rushed to me.
Even the lines of Koga Tomoe and Makinohara Shouko seiyuus' at the beginning of the ep lacked expression
They sounded like "let's get over with it quick and move to the next scene!"
But maybe it's just me.
