Yeah, but some of it was touching, so I loved it.

I hope there is not a second season because I don't want the anime to end the way the manga does. I personally like the anime ending more than the manga ending.

While I would have liked a Lucy-Kouta ending, the Manga ending was good. It tied up most of the loose ends.

I know the manga ending was good, but I just kind of like the anime ending more.

Either way they're both great endings in my opinion.

If you think I was talking about the manga, then forgive me because I added an extra comma for no reason. My post revealed nothing about the manga.

Why does it ending a year ago matter!?

And uh yes you did reveal something on the the manga... Omg oh yeah I see! >_<

Sorry... I didn't read it properly. But still, it is a spoiler the anime...

Have you read the policies? It's courtesy, not a rule, to use spoiler tags. Second, it's recommended to use spoiler tags about 1-2 days after the episode is released, and after that you don't have to. The episode I was talking about was released more than 1-2 days ago.

Yeah.... but why does it mater? There are people here who still haven't seen Elfen Lied and would not like to know what happens.

I have seen the ending of Elfen Lied but I have to disagree about it being good. The horn being shot off and the clock starting again were clear references to Nyu. But the ending of the anime fails to address some serious questions. For one, what happens when that organization returns to its pursuit of Lucy? Is the personality of Lucy permanently gone? Will Khota's memories resurface permanently (at the end he appears to have repressed memories of Lucy again)?

The ending was a copout but without having more episodes they really didn't have a choice, I guess.

Yeah.... I think it's meant to be open to interpretation. The ending is what you want it to be.

I agree that the ending raises new questions, but like Reno said, it's meant to be interpreted differently.

Spoiler for Elfen Lied's ending so Reno can be happy:

It was said before. The two things that Lucy and Nyu have in common are their shared body and their love for Kouta.

You gotta remember Nyu is Lucy but with amnesia. Simple as that.

Er, Nyu is a split personality of Lucy that only developed when Lucy was hit on the head by the sniper bullet. Lucy doesn't have amnesia, because she has no memories. She did not even eat from the tree of knowledge. Nyu converts to Lucy when she is hit on the head or otherwise some concussion to the head and Lucy reverts to Nyu when she is shown kindness. They're separate persons.
