Anyone with half a brain can properly use the system, but again the flaws kick in. The failsafe for the whole system is the ultimate failsafe... the pilot is turned superhuman! Really what more do you want?

Premade logic etchings, which I also mentioned before, can be used if the pilot is really that incompetent but the unit would lose its freedom in using any type of weapon or ability. It is extremely difficult to overwrite an etching and may require brand new hardware.

EDIT: Ghost Rider in an IS... how insane would that be?

Because kidney will take any poison in your blood first, and liver will try to neutralize it. And yes, both of them will inflame, as in "having size increase due to overworking or allergic/poisoning"

Either that or my gaster go explode.

no canon/official reason. I imagine it makes great publicity and propaganda. There's also the possibility that performance drops with age and women at the prime of 20-30 have tendency to settle down. Won't disqualify them from being reps but the schedule would hinder family relations. there are prolly other reasons though

^ Same excuse, with additional info that to get into testing ground that is I.S.A. you have to be almost totally neutral, like being a teacher, staff, or student. This is the official reason Charl and Laura went at all.

Armored Stratos Development is kinda cheating in itself, considering that while they don't stored within the artificial island, everything still done within I.S.A. airspace.

Cecilia seems to imply selection, though I'm not sure.

Since Rin was in the army, I get is that she simply drafted on a pure chance.
