If I had to guess, it's the live stream where the gravure idols were playing around.... With the PS4 playroom that was first shown during the Japan launch.

Well, PS4 game library is a wasteland for Japanese gamers, and with a utter lack of backwards compatibility, it is no wonder.
In fact, while I sincerely think PS4 lack any strong selling argument for the western side, I don't get why any japanese gamer would like to have one, save perhaps on the long term (as in, buying it before the taxe increase).

Not only PS4, but everything else. I see that the new tax has proven its effectiveness.

PS4 sales surpass 7 million as of April 6th, software sales surpass 20.5 million as of April 13th.

Link with full PR.

Kinda amazing that they still sell a million per month.

^ nice. at this rate, they might reach pass 10+ millions by the end of the year.

other than that, more games please! my ps4 is starting to collect
a little bit of dust at the moment. :P

hopefully blizzard give a release date for Diablo 3 for the ps4 soon. and The Last of Us
coming out to ps4 soon as well; i haven't play that game before,
so i might give it a try when it comes out on the ps4.

For me as a SONY whore, even I think the lineup is very weak right and for the foreseeable future.

That said, I probably will pick up a PS4 in a few weeks, grab AC IV, play that, get Watchdogs, and live on those campaigns until more stuff comes out.

If you have a great gaming PC, then just hold off until you see a couple of exclusives that you would love to play. A lot of stuff that is coming out for it so far is available on PC as well.

Can someone care to explain what this means and if it good thing or bad thing for the company. Cause I'm some what confused on the subject. Or maybe I'm not seeing what I'm suppose to see from the lack of sleep.

I just going to bring this here from NeoGaf:

Quote:
From what I remember, Sony made an equity investment in square around the time spirits within tanked; it was almost a good will gesture to help the company raise some additional capital when they needed it. I believe the shares were nonvoting. That is important. After the se merger, sony's ownership position was diluted and remained functionally irrelevant (since it was nonvoting).
[edit]

Wow.

Titanfall tops chart, but PS4 leads hardware again in March - NPD

Just Kaz Hirai cutting risk in the company. 47 million isn't a lot as a whole for Sony Corporation but the risk that comes with holding share in Square Enix (which isn't that profitable to begin with) is far more than it's worth.

I dont think anyone should worry about the PS brand for the time being as it's being outperforming expectation and quite frankly, it's the one of the few product that's been keeping Sony's consumer electronic afloat. Eventhough it's not one of the prime money maker ( I believe Sony's insurance division is the strongest ), it serve as a distribution platform for other Sony product like Sony Music, Sony Picture and etc.
