Looks like Hokuto no Ken: Ichigo-Aji/Strawberry-Flavored Hokuto no Ken is getting an animated TV adaptation for Fall 2015.

Plot Summary:

The story is a parody of Fist of the North Star by Buronson and Tetsuo Hara. It consists of page-long gags centered mainly around Souther, both within his final battle with Kenshiro and inserting himself into other parts of the series where he doesn't belong. One recurring gag involves the kid with a turban repeatedly stabbing Souther in the leg every time he climbs the pyramid's staircase, and another involves Rei suddenly transforming into Souther in his iconic moments.

I am one who liked the french gag dub back in the day, have read the manga in the 2000s with a renewed respect and absolutely loved watching the animated series in subbed version (<3 Kaneto Shiozawa, Akira Kamiya and Kenji Utsumi).
That said, Hokuto no Ken is so serious all the time that a little parody here and there couldnt hurt, and that speaking with the french gag dub in mind.

Saw "Hokuto no Ken". Thought that a new adaptation is in works. I'm disappointed.

A remake of the original would have been much better as TV serie

EDIT: Maybe DD Hokuto no Ken and Hokuto no Ken: Ichigo-Aji are going to be in the same anime

Just watched this today. Like Ken's punches, the jokes came hard and fast, but the sequel of DD didn't make me explode with laughter, though it was funny. Ajin only lasted like a min before Souther got hilariously cut off.
