I would buy her some cat ears, a necklace with two connected hearts or a bottle of glögg. |

Jonte, before I suggest a gift idea, tell us a little about your girlfriend such as intrests, likes and dislikes, etc. Maybe mot of us can chop down our suggestions to the certain things she likes. Caliing out gift ideas leads us back to square one each time someone posts.

wow i love how nobody ever has any clue for gifts when it comes to people who matter. i still don't know what i'm buying for my family and best friends. and i talk to them all the time.
i should force them all to write down lists. i always pass my wishlists to friends so they get some ideas about me. it's not a total surprise but i like it better than blah gifts like candy and lotion (those should always be secondary stuff in addition to main gifts). what can i say, if a relationship is strong, a bad gift can't ruin it. and if it's a bad relationship, a good gift can't save it. i wish everyone has a happy shopping season! |

Funny how when I read the thread's title I though 'gf' standed for grand father ^^. Well, upon reading thraed, I did of course realize my mistake. As for suggestions, well, I'll just agree that it has to be something personal so I really don't think we can help.....

cloth : bad idea. Even if you know the size of your girlfriend's clothing ( too big- thinks she is fat; too small- doesn't understand her enough), she may not like the ones you buy and return them. result = waste of time
bread make : not as bad but still not good. I have one that I use occasionally and, let me tell you, too much work in getting the dough ready. If I were you, I would save the $100 all together. Buy some color paper and fold a bottle of stars- if you can fold them fast enough, they are suprisingly suitable as a gift to give to a girl. You can count on my word for it .

The locket is a good idea! I think music boxes also make decent ready-made and still somewhat sentimental gifts. You can also get engraved ID bracelets fairly cheap. This probably sounds so cheesy, but I still think stuffies make a great gift add on. And I know this one is so cliche, but scarfs are nice too. Even being a girl, I still don't know what most other girls would actually enjoy tho.

buy her a vibrator, for those long winter nights without you. Also, maybe a picture of you naked to go with it so she doesnt go with random men? LOL, j/k. Hmm, most girls like expensive gifts, and if you cant decide there are always gift cards. I guess it all depends on your budget.

Jesus. I know exactly what my girlfriend wants for christmas.....she is my girlfriend, I know her likes and dislikes. I fear for those who don't. God forbid you give her a crappy gift. I have an idea! This might just be crazy enough to work! Ask her what she wants for christmas if you don't already know.

- Get her something she wants. You may ask. - Get her something you'd like her to have (not kissing practicer or a treadmill) Simple as that.

You have to find out what here interests are what she will like.
Suggestion: First go see with her a christmas movie then have a christmas dinner with her. After that you can give her a present. Most likely jewelry, a great idea will be the connection jewelry where you(lovers) will both have an piece of something special. |

I have an idea
Why don't you give us her AIM/MSN/Yahoo/ICQ/mIRC username/email-address and we will ask her on your behalf! (without mentioning your name of course) Better yet, tell us her phone number and address so we could, eh, pay her "a visit of charity" .

umm... a hand-made christmas card? you don't have to worry if its gonna turn out ugly or what. As long as it shows that you've put in the effort to make it =)
i think Hand made cards are the best, cost savy and meaningful. Especially from a guy well since most of the times girls are the ones who took the effort to make it. Another alternative is you make a special photo album for her. preferbably having its hand made too. Collect all the photos you have taken together with her and compile them, having some quotes under them don't worry too much. i think she'll like anything you give. |

You could choose to be duped by all those commercials and give her "the perfect gift" by gift-wrapping a gift certificate. Then you'd hear a nice, warm, "oh ... uh ... thanks."
Or you could choose to be duped by that Victoria's Secret commercial and really believe that giving her lingerie sends the message that she's "the only one". Commercialism is so wonderful. |
