I heard a j-pop song on a random internet radio station. it was normal female vocals overtop of a orchestra sounding background with a "epic" sounding backup singers. I'm sure I've heard the song before, so it can't be that rare. The vocalist sounded a bit like the one that does the Ef - A tale of Memories opening.
Any assistance would be appreciated. edit: And if it helps any: I've also seen the tail-end of the song while it was overlaid on a niconicodouga movie. The part of the movie I saw was where something like a cylinder was spinning really fast over a hole in the middle of a what looked like a large bowl. Found out today. Thanks to the people who tried to figure it out for it.
It was the Atelier Iris 3 opening, apparently, and the video was about making cotton candy. Listening to the full version I'm sure it would have been impossible to find out otherwise. Haha |

A friend of mine recorded a fireworks show in Oita, Japan, and one of the pieces from the show is strangely familiar to both of us, but we can't place it.
Here is a clip from the recording wherein the most recognizable portion is played: Now, I don't actually know if this is from any anime or not, but we both have a hunch it might be. Since it was played in public, I assume it would be from a popular movie. Who knows, maybe it's from some American film, but since it's suspected to be from an anime, I thought I would ask here.

Hey there, has anyone else been enjoying the songs from the Spice and Wolf Boku to Holo no Ichinen Chara Song CD? I just love the ED version of Tonari ni Iru yo! But it's been over a month since its release and I still can't find a translation for the lyrics: http://img93.imageshack.us/img93/3854/03mb7.jpg

I actually have seen the film numerous times when I was young (if I guessed I saw it 30 times, it would probably be too low), but between years of memories growing fuzzy and the different instruments than the original, I hadn't recognized it there. It was so hauntingly familiar... now I know why.
