Personally, I enjoyed Chuunibyou much more than I did K-On. Bring on another season. I read that the novel gives us new directions, so season two doesn't have to be a re-run of season one. I'd enjoy seeing Rikka and Yuuto's relationship evolve. And of course I'd love to see/hear more of Mori Summer (Akasaki Chinatsu), and of Dekomori (Uesaka Sumire).

I just hope that it fulfils one of my 'basics'; that it tells me a good story, takes me to a good place where the characters are well drawn out and gives me some entertainment and laughs along the way. The first season gave me all this and more I hope the second can too.

Well, the ending dramatics of the first season really turned me off to the series, but the comedy in this series was golden and I can't complain if they want to give us more Deko

Our good pal IEEE got a copy of Megami magazine early today, which contained S2 news. Firstly, the new episode on the v7 BD/DVD is a story that takes place between seasons 1 and 2 and is a comedic episode. Season 2 occurs the following year in the Spring and will last until the summer. The new season will tone down the serious aspects and have a lot of romantic comedy hijinks. New character(s) will be introduced.

Reports from the interview in Megami Magazine relating to the second season:
-While it won't be emphasized as much as it was in the Lite episodes, comedy is a big part of season 2. However, they're still thinking about what the core of S2 will be. -They plan to depict "How do you fall in love with a chuunibyou girl" in S2. -Originally, S2 was to start around New Year's Day, but now it'll start around March. -Compared to S1, S2 will have a more comfortable progression of time (umx note: ie, no random month timeskips). -There may be replacement of characters and setting changes. -Kuzuha and Yumeha may not appear at all. Touka's also really difficult to fit in. -There's no plan to touch on the relationship between Rikka and her family. While things still aren't well with her grandfather, they don't plan to pursue that route. -Kumin's family accidentally appeared. -They want to introduce new character(s) without it getting muddled or turning into a love triangle. It's supposed to be a laid-back chuunibyou comedy. -Right now, they think it's fine for ZAQ and the circle to sing the OP/ED respectively.
