Nice to see the show starting a multi-episode arc. Ever since the trailer, been looking forward to their confrontation with Iron Frill. And glad its been publicly noted that "Number Three" resembles the legendary Ai Mizuno, though probably only the reporter has so far put together just how many in Franchouchou resemble another late public figure.
I can't quite tell what Kotarou's up to. Trying to force Junko to step up (as well as fit into the group better)? Nice guitar number from her (with the screen narrowing). Keep them from relying on Ai too much? His plans mostly work out, eventually, but his record's not perfect either. Well, I expect they'll come up with a unique Franchouchou performance (trying to match Iron Frill at their own game is probably not a winning strategy), and that will be a sight to see. |

And yeah, Junko's song was really nice.

I wondered if anyone was going to recognize Ai so it's nice to see some people putting it together. While it's clear Ai isn't going to leave, the group still has to find a way to compete with Iron Frill.

Damn, that ending. Iron Frill really brought down the iron hand challenge. Poor Junko, now to her self-doubts comes her guilt of holding back Ai-chan's talent...
Best part about the episode was Junko trying her hardest with the computer not understanding she had to press enter to get the results she was looking for and then having no idea how to shut down the PC so she pulled the plug and left the room defeated by technology. XD

I was expecting it, what with him telling her to smash it, but still, that expression on Kotaro's face at the end, ouch. I like seeing Kotaro's slightly more serious side occasionally (and Junko did point out his own earlier depression). I wonder if we'll see the glued together guitar later.
So that's what Ai had been looking at earlier. I'm happy to see Franchouchou's recurring fans still there (those two guys, Maria, Lily's father). Heh, a little electricity always helps zombies. |

I knew Junko would smash the guitar too since Kotaro told her to do it. His fault for not making it clear he was speaking metaphorically. Then again, he did stress how important that guitar was to him and Junko still destroyed it without a second thought
So I guess they both share the blame. The heavy metal song was really awesome. With her performance last week, and now this, I can say Junko is my favorite singer in Franchouchou. Doesn't mean favorite girl though. I don't know if it's just me, but there were some serious yuri undertones here.
