That was a pretty hard task just at the start of the second term, hinami is not holding any punches. But nanashi is doing a pretty good job about it, love the treasure get when he found new info.

The opening points to a tama arc, I'm all in for it. I like tama.

Aoi very intentionally made motivating Erika Fumiya's task because she noticed how bothered he was by Erika's bullying of Hirabayashi.

As much of a sociopath as Aoi is, one cannot doubt that she is extremely astute socially.

Tomozaki uses his popular friends to deliver three critical attacks on Erika to get her to participate in the baseball game...Yuzu with the friendship attack, Hinami with the competitive rivalry attack, and Mizusawa with the "impress my crush by looking good at sports" attack. And the last one was super effective! I'd say the boss was beaten and the game was won...but real life isn't so simple as that

.

I love how Hinami made Tomozaki get into basketball but dude got fouled out of the game in the first thirty seconds. He still impressed the basketball guy he was supposed to, so...success

Unfortunately the ticking time bomb that was Yuzu and Nakamura dating finally gets out and since Erika can't bully one of her friends, she just targets Hirabayashi again and starts outright bullying her. What a complete jerk

.

Obviously Tomozaki wants to do something since the bullying doesn't let up, but Hinami is cold and pragmatic about it. She doesn't approve of what Erika is doing but she sees no reason to involve herself when, from her perspective, Hirabayashi still has the chance to fix the solution herself and is responsible for picking up the controller and winning at her own life. Which I guess I get on some level but it feels really detached and harsh when Hinami puts it that way. And her saying she'll get involved if it goes too far isn't comforting

.

Of course Tomozaki doesn't need to do anything because Tama outright calls Erika out for her behavior, but that just makes Tama the target of Erika's attacks next. And Tama isn't the type to take it lying down, but that just makes things worse

.

It seems like it's an entirely different story for Hinami when it comes to someone she's actually friends with getting hit by the bullying, though she refuses to let Tama compromise herself to resolve this, not that Hinami can do much more than try to control the class' mood and get the girls on Tama's side. Watching the background characters talk about it like it's not their problem and Tama was the one making things worse was rough to watch

Tama has Hinami and Mimimi playing support in her battle against Erika, but while Tama is fine so long as she's true to herself, she doesn't want to keep burdening her best friend with her problems...which means she wants to be more like Tomozaki and learn how he plays the game to change herself for the better. Is Tomozaki about to pass on what Hinami taught him, and his own style, to another

Really don't get why she's such a big deal when Aoi is in the same class

I guess because she's the "class queen" or at least acts the part more than Hinami does.

I understand Aoi argument that yourself need to something when things aren't that bad and refuse to act. What she doesn't know and what Tama proved is that this can go 2 ways:

1) The bully back off.
2) Things go worse.

In the case of Hirabayashi, she didn't act for being afraid of number 2, her shy personality and of course she doesn't have any idea that Aoi would help her if thing get worse.

In the end Aoi for the looks of it doesn't have that much power, I thought by her confidence that she would solve this quickly but in the end it will be nanashi saving the day.

Frontier Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2013	Spoiler: It's the second stage for Tomozaki-kun and he's got all his stats and levels from the previous stage and raring to earn some more in the game called life! Even his sister thinks he's improved, which says a lot! And he's still schooling Hinami in Attack Family . Fumi and Nakamura actually hooked up off-screen? Wow, nice. Of course the fact that Erika is also crushing on Nakamura and probably won't take it well when she finds out will likely complicate things . Nice to see the gang all doing their usual thing, Mizusawa is still the charismatic handsome guy, Nakamura is still Nakamura, Mimimi is the life of the party who cuddles with Tama, Takei is the guy everyone in class clowns on, Kikuchi is still cute and sweet, and Erika is the queen bee who is basically in charge and peer pressures other people into doing stuff. Poor Hirabayashi . Dang Hinami, starting off the school year with pitting Tomozaki against a Boss like Erika. Tomozaki will have to collect all the information he can on side-quests and gather his party if he hopes to stand a chance against her . How did Hinami end up the way she did and became so motivated to become the high-spec Heroine she is today? What makes her put so much effort into it and what does she hope to achieve as a result ? Oh hey, it's that redhead girl from the end of season 1! And she's Narita AKA Gumi, who is a fairly lazy and carefree girl who only puts the amount of work she needs to get what she wants the most...basically the mood we should all aspire to, and her advice from Planet Apathy actually gives Tomozaki some ideas . Tomozaki and Kikuchi are still so cute together, and you don't need to twist Kikuchi's arm to hang out with Tomozaki after her job. And she has a good read on people, though she's also super sweet enough that even knowing Erika's character flaws she still thinks she's a nice person and tries to convince Tomozaki of that. She really is the best . Well, at least the teacher finally stepped in and helped them pick softball, which is a big hurdle on the "get Erika Konno" motivated quest. And Yuzu now feels motivated to become captain for Hirabayashi's sake, which might help convince Erika too. And now Tomozaki's selected Hinami as his player character to help stir up Erika even more as her rival, though Hinami will only let Tomozaki play her within reason. Here's to a successful game . Would it be Tomozaki-kun without Dialogue+? With all the game graphics and high school life you could ask for...and stuff like Tomozaki and Tama hanging out, Minami looking longingly at Tomozaki (?), Gumi and Tomozaki working together, Yuzu and Nakamura getting close, and some drama with Kikuchi ? __________________

Legit not sure that starting off with this Erika stuff was a good way to hit the ground running. Well at least it's pushing Tomozaki to get moving and he's taking on this challenge reasonably well. Going to need a full blown army to take this on. And good on Yuzu. Obviously didn't exactly want to jump on this job herself to start. But in the end she's motivated and able to help out Hirabayashi and is willing to do it. Plan seems solid. Just have to make it work. __________________ Anime-Evo
