I kind of wish I didn't have class in an hour, I'm going to miss a lot of the early hectic times as results come in. By the time I get home only the west coast and beyond polls will still be open.

I'm really glad you're doing the animated race again . It brought a few laughs during the long night in 2008 .

Deep respect to those who stood in lines and did their best. Reports are coming in of scandalous conditions especially in the swing states, untrained volunteers and illegal demands for id's when none are required, long lines in adverse weather and questionably present campaign materials (check the comments).

I skipped out of the house, took a few minutes' walk, faced no lines, calm people and gentle smiles. I never had more respect for my fellow Nevadans than today when I hear what's going on in Ohio and Florida. Still voting machines, but there was a print option for record which I of course took.

And for the fucks who are trying so blatantly to tamper with our democratic system by making it so difficult to exercise the single most important civic duty of all citizens, go to hell. We should have called in the UN.

That's indeed one case in which the UN's presence could be useful.

UN is useless, especially when it comes to the US. UN said no to the invasion of Iraq, we went anyways.

Still, I hope someone will Bush's ass sent into the brig at The Hague. This bastard should meet the same fate as Slobodan Milosevic for everything he (Bush) did.

So far, so normal. Florida looks tight'ish... ~70,000 vote difference with 24% of the vote in.

CNN just reported that (with around if I recall ~23% reported) Obama has a decent lead currently in Florida

REVISED: 28% in 63K ahead

Cannot predict now

Considering how close NC was in 2008 it's possible. But 538 projected it to go to Romney today so eh.
