Hey guys being new to the site i've decided to jump right in and pose a question to you all
what do you thing are the either the best or worst cliches used in animes

I'm a fan of the ending the fight with one good dramatic punch punch (often with relevant speech or awesome battlecry)

So what do you guys think?

But I think the "best cliches" part from your title is something new. Let's see how mods will handle this thread.

I suppose that the "rage is might" cliche of many shounen manga/anime will never grow old, even if in reality the more you are angry the less likely you are to win a fight. In a sense is liberating, and it's always pleasant to see your usual villain uttering words like "impossible!" or better "inconceivable!" ("sonna bakana!" in japanese. Ah, how many time I've heard that!)

Worst cliche? Well, personally I'm really getting tired of nosebleeds especially when they go overboard. I'm also not very fond of the usual "boob complex" that most anime girls have.

Ah, and if I could have a penny for every time where during a cultural festival "maid cafe", "haunted house" and "Romeo and Juliet" pop up...

now that i think about it my worst cliche is the misunderstanding
oh look a boy has accidentally done something perverted (or better yet it was the girls fault) now time for the beat the hell out of them often with no apology if they later realsie it wasn't their fault e.g. persona 4 animation the hotsprings scene
