Almost 30 pages in the end of v8 are a collection of 4 koma that were published as promotional material. Also an omake chapter that takes place with the original 4 in high school.

Finally got Volume 6!

I really liked the slightly more realistic-looking character "rough sketches" at the beginning of each chapter. With the one of Matsuri Hiiragi on page 84, she looks a bit like Tomo from Azumanga Daioh (and acts a bit like her too).

We're seeing a lot of Fuyuki. She plays a role similar to Ayano for Hikaru's Misao. Wouldn't be surprised if Ayano turns out like Fuyuki when she gets older (wonder if she also has a hidden passion for the paranormal?).

@Nerroth: Wow, it's available in Canada already? I guess it would make sense, since Volume 6 had a label that it was printed in Canada (at least for North America).

lol I'm sorry but Philippines has low otaku activity (no I'm not kidding, someone told me), that's why there's no manga [if you are looking for Filipino manga, the only one I know is Ninja Girl Ko]. And the rest are DC comics and Filipino-made comics.

Too bad...just when I found some manga in the secluded part of National Bookstore in Mall of Asia....and the old PowerBooks store in SM MegaMall. (damn...them...they closed the big store...and relocated to a smaller one Y_Y)

Oh well...I guess I'll just have to go with the internet. I may have to pay triple or quadruple for one manga book (due to Custom Tax and international delivery.)

BTW...where are the non-Amazon links for Lucky Star manga volumes 6 & 7? =S

P.S.: Is it safe, effective, and/or cheap (for now I mean...I don't trust the 2009 articles spreading around the net) to buy from Amazon? I mean manga...=/
