Welcome to the Naruto Character of the Month Contest!!!!!!


Today is October first and here we have the beginning of our NCC!

This month's theme is....wait for it...

~~~ELEMENTAL NINJA~~~
This does not mean simply a ninja who uses elemental jutsu...that's just unoriginal. I want y'all to create characters who actually personify their respective element. Not only can they 'manipulate' said element, but their personality should reflect their element. And feel free to go beyond the obvious "she's a fire ninja so she is hotheaded". Be original. Be as creative as you can.

The winner of this contest will decide the theme for next month's contest.




This thread is for submissions into the Character of the Month contest.
Contest Rules are as follows:
1. Every contest will have a theme. Each contestant must abide by the theme. Themes cannot be picked twice in a row.

2. Every Character Must be put in spoiler tags. This is to save space.

3. Contest submissions begin on the first day of each month. The entry period will last until two weeks from that date.

4. On the day after the submission date ends, a poll will open and it will last for one week. When the poll closes, the winner will be allowed to choose a theme for the next contest.

5. The next contest will not begin until the first of the month, when submissions are allowed once again.

6. Only one official submission per contestant. You may create as many character as you want, but you can only enter one official character. So please put “final or official entry in your post when you're ready to turn in your finished character.

7. You are allowed to wait until the final day to turn in your entry. If you wish to keep your entry private until the day the poll opens you can request it in the submission thread or by private message to the organizer (me, Sworn).

8. If you would like pictures included with your character please include links without image code tags so that it is easier for me to carry the pictures over to the voting thread.(You may still include pictures with code tags as long as you include plain links with them)

This month's entry period officially starts October 1, 2010 and lasts until Novermber 1, 2010. ( Look, I'm being nice and giving you the whole month!! Plus a day, cause no one wants to be working on Halloween...and this is also in hopes of getting more entries...yeah.)Entries will be gathered and put up for voting on November 2, 2010. Voting will end on the following Saturday.***





Entries can either be private messaged or posted in the submission thread. The submission thread can also be used to post works in progress to gather feedback from other posters. You do not have to post your entries in the thread if you don't wish to (for those who want to be private about what they are working on), until the last day of submissions. The whole idea is to promote quality entries but it's not required to submit early if you are confident in your entry but want to keep your submission secret until the due date. I will periodically update the thread to keep track of the names of all contestants and list those names here. Those who wish to keep entries private until the due date should still inform me they are entering so I can keep track of who is competing.

If anyone has any questions, feel free to post them here or private message me, I'll do my best to answer.

***A few notes about due dates and other "stuff"***
The due date ends at 11:59 (midnight basically) . The polling will be up the following day. I will try to be as lenient as I can with last minute submissions but only slightly.

Meaning: It means peaceful warrior.

Clothing: Black pants, white long sleeve shirt with some designs over it with red robes and matching hood.

Bio: 18 years ago, a harsh storm hit the temple where monks lived this monks also worshiped their wind god Vasilia (Goddess of Wind). When the storm was over the monks came outside to see the demmage caused by the storm. But doing this they found a baby child (girl) wrapped in white blanket. They brought the child in, after some discussion they decided to keep the child, who they now considered as the child of wind. Because of the ancient prophecy which fortails that when the great wind strikes among the suffery that will cause it will also bring a hope into the world. In the form of a child. It's considered that the child came from Vasilia herself and the child is her daughter who will bring peace in the world, because of this monks decided to name her Bodhi (peaceful warrior).

Bodhi is a quiet and reserved person, she doesn't talk to much. She likes to stay in one place and listen to the world around her. She also very loyal towards the ones she trust, as she proved this by deciding to stay with the monk even after she could take care after herself. She is very kind and gentle soul, she has great love for nature and animals ever since she was little, she thinks of herself as their protector. She also has a small sense of humor which she rarely shows. She is very smart because of this she read almost all the scrolls from the temple.


Jutsu:She has a great amount of short and long range jutsus which are all based on wind. She can also combine them with her sword making them much stronger.

Kekkei Genkai: Because she is the daughter of wind goddess she can use the wind like it's a part of herself. She does not use chakra to use this ability but here own spiritual energy. All she has to do is focus on wind and the wind will obey her. Because she likes to stand in one place and listen she can use wind to hear on large destinations. The wind also aloves her automatic defense, meaning it will protect from any harm. When she is in deep meditation she can use sometimes the wind to comunicate with her own mother. She is the best ninja ever to control the element 'wind'. She can produce great storms for protection or even destruction. This abilty is also conected with her own feelings, thats one of the reasons she likes to stay calm. If she experience some deep emotions she will unknown to her cause wind to react.

Other weapons/attacks/whatever: Soaring Short Swords

This weapon is a twin-blades short sword. It is designed to respond to attacks and allow the user to transform wind freely. They will also boost the user's attack power to the highest limit.

History and personal: She used her time at temple to try to find more about herself and where she came from. It wasn't until she was sixteen that monks told her about the prophecy and her mother. It took her some time to come with terms of who daughter she is. Later she accepted her destiny and promised to her mother she will do anything in her power to save the world. Even trough she loved the monks very much she decided to travel around the world and try to bring peace to people. During her travels she came to known many people (ninja and civilian alike). During her travels she meet one Naruto Uzumaki who shares the same fate as her. Together they decided to fight the dark force (Akatsuki) and try to save the world from them, also to bring peace for many years to come.

Future: She married Naruto after they dated for two years. They have two children, a girl named Hitomi and a boy named Hoshi. Their relationship is very good but like any other it has it's own up's down's. Like when Naruto tried to smugle ramen for their children, who like their own father share great love for ramen.

Well I would have liked if someone else has entered, instead of wining like this But never the less here is the theme for this month.

~Time Travel Ninja~

Some explanations and guidelines

• You can't just say a ninja traveled to the past and ruled the world by knowing future or the same goes for going to the future.

• Your character needs to have an personality based upon this. Meaning he/she needs to understand the consequences of time traveling.

• Your character can't become godlike because of this, he needs to have an emotional side because of this, meaning it would be nice if you can describe the way your character feels because of this.

• Also you are free to base their skills upon time traveling, meaning they can have skills/techniques to transport others maybe trough time, things like that.
