Don't lie. Everyone knows that everyone prefers Haru who prefers me. You're just being tsun. Why so tsun? There's no need to deny anything <3

You mean the VFB? I'd look through it more, but then I hit the pages where they just HAD to go and reprint the.. uh.. bits.. and I can't continue == (the commentary on the songs were nice tho)

Haru wants YOU to play G-Senjou no Maou

Just stay away from Haru or else Seitsuki will attack you out of nowhere.

Is there a link to VFB? I tried googling but there is nothing much of this series alone >.<

Someone asked the same thing in the earlier post (about a year ago i think lol), is there any translation for the drama cd? Something like what people did for Ever17's.

Haru may be hot, but worshiping Gonzou may be enough for me .

Mm, Haru's cute in the dorky way.

But what about the mature and refined Yuki?

Yeah, after listening to it, I was like is this the end? Surely there is more?

Looks like I managed fine to listen to it without any translations .

Just finished, the whole game was epic, it was a nice read.

The TL was perfect and well this was my first VN ever and undoubtebly one of the best, the whole plot and twists never ceased me to amaze me. Nothing I've ever seen/played/read compared to this so I must say, already said like billion times, that this is one of the best VNs!

I wish I could lose my memory so I may experience all the emotions this game made me feel all over again ;_;

I honestly think G-senjou was rather average in story.
I recommend Ever17 and 999 for real mind fuck.

hmm, I will try these. You seem to have enough experience to know what's good or not.

I'll see what I can do about 999 since I dont own a DS I also had no idea the game was good enough to get located.

Yo, just played and finished Ever17(bad ending, damn) and I must say it's much less linear the Senjou.
I didnt play all the paths yet but DAMN, Senjou was the most epic experience for me, mainly towards the final chapter. The whole game was thrilling and didnt fail to surprise me in anyway. Some things were pretty obvious and I was often like "why didnt I tink of this almfaec:" or "So I got tricked into thinking that again". That's pretty much it

There is Ever17 thread on forums, you probably should post it there. Also I just want to say this: Ever17 is "pretty okay" till you reach the True Ending, which turns it into "pretty f'ing epic".

G Senjou is kinda like that too. The side character chapters and their respective extended characters are okay to above average, whilst the main last chapter (which is quite long) is amazing.

Besides parts of the extended side chapters, I thought the game was entertaining the whole way through. Can't say the same about Ever17.

Mmm, perhaps, but I feel Ever17 is a completely different beast altogether.
G Senjou would work without any side-routs, while Ever17 simple does not - each route is equally important.

The eroge scenes were all equally important too!

time for me to flaunt my new avatar and sig, with thanks to Patchy, in this thread. :]

Don't know about Ever17, but I've played quite a number of awesome VNs of a few different genres and patterns, while G-sen is not necessary the best, it's definitely one of the more awesome ones. The side routes are not totally useless. They complement the true route if you played them first, in the right order. Because they set up some false perceptions by playing some tricks in the player's mind which greatly improves the twist and the impact of the story. Playing the side routes after the true route makes them pretty much meaningless though.
I can't remember everything after so long but for example:
Spoiler for plot spoiler:

Not really. These parts, especially Kanon's route were false pretense, nearly an indicator that they scrapped their scenario midway.

It's pretty obvious that Chapter 5 + Epilogue ended up completely differently than what they originally intended, yeah.

One reason I don't like this game much.
