Fate/Zero - BD Additions & Changes

With the Einzbern Consultation Room parts Irisviel is showing off why Fate/kaleid liner PRISMA☆ILLYA must be made.

Illya already got reason enough via Carnival Phantasm to get it made, but with Iris showing off her silly side makes it more so that it must be make.

Watched the first two specials. So funny. T-chan and Iri are awesome together. Iri is so much fun.

Finally started to watch the BDs. This series looks really great with that high quality and it's funny when you notice the changes they made or the new scenes.

Now I can't wait for the new season. Shouldn't the first two episodes already been screened? I forgot when this special event took/will take place. But I think it didn't happen yet, or atleast I saw no spoilers anywhere besides those pre-screenshots.

The specials were hilarious and very entertaining. Even the Assassin bits were funny to watch.

From the first episode:
T-chan : There's no future to it (the War) at all. Why only one team, Instructor? I think everyone should just share it (the Grail).
Iri: There are DDD circumstances behind that, so I'm sorry. I'd like to tell you in greater detail, but it won't happen. It's still too early for you to experience the adult world.

(DDD = Dark, Dirty, Dandy. Makes the whole Grail-War-business sound so wrong, lol!)

The third Einsbern consultation special were indeed hilarious, especially the third one. The parody of that scene from the first episode had me in tears
I hope we'll see Zecchan and Iri lecture the other (future) fallen servants too.

PS: Tai- Zecchan is so damn cute.

That was easily the best part of the specials.

As for the new scenes, I think the biggest improvements (aside from episode 11, which we'd already seen uncut) were the new portions of dialogue between Kotomine and Gilgamesh in episode 12, which definitely made the whole conversation flow better. Gil's speech on prideful individuals definitely shed some further light on why he found Saber and Rider to be so interesting.

I just finished watching (listening? Reading?) the Drama CD, and it made me wonder why Kiritsugu didn't have Acht just make another Grail vessel so Iri wouldn't have to die during the war. If i remember correctly, when Kiritsugu suggested Iri run away, he said at most making another vessel would just be a small inconvenience.

Errr... I don't think we can answer that here because the answer lies in the game, the novel and some speculation. I think there are some technicalities to it. Go to the Q&A thread and ask.

That was great. And I must say I can't be the only person who would've found it perfect if Tokiomi suddenly appeared walking around him as well with a glass of wine in his hand.

I mean it would be only fitting since he is the one who started this whole circle walking madness.

This show seems to have an obssession with the circle walk & talk. Tokiomi, Iri, and I think Sola also did it in one episode if i remember correctly.

But the Drama CD explained it. It was a matter of pride. For Acht Iri was adaquete.

Well the BDs are out now and according to reports it turns out that, after all that "we'll fix it on the Blu-rays" discussion, there was no actual fix and Saber vs Berserker remained as it was in the TV version. No Enkidu flashback or Gilgamesh inside the Grail either.

How disappointing.
