Her character is very fun. She just goes with the flow of things and apparently nothing really surprises her haha. I can't wait to see her eccentric personality interact more with the others in the team, especially with Hibiki. No matter how much I liked the first episode ... it felt like something was either missing or something just didn't seem right?

I'm absolutely loving the artistic direction. This show looks gorgeous. There isn't much to say about the plot yet since they only introduced us to the basics. Characters are very colorful and enjoyable. I'm loving Hajime already. I like her energy and her incredibly positive attitude, nothing surprises her and she gets excited over pretty much everything (well, she had a pretty good reason to be excited, you don't join a superhero team everyday). She's like the completely opposite of an angsty character.
I didn't recognize Maaya Uchida at all. I had to check on ANN to make sure she was indeed Hajime.

I have to say Hajime is one hell of a fun character to watch. Seems borderline crazy at times, but still fun to watch interacting with people. Nothing phases that girl. Certainly brings another element to the group we've seen so far. Just immediately absorbing this information, using her notebook to sketch or just transforming after deciding to give it a shot .
Also had a good laugh at Hajime carting around Utsutsu around during her conversation with OD. Seems like this will be good fun to watch each week.

Maaya Uchida is the one seiyuu I never recognize. I only found out she voiced Frenda in Railgun 10 minutes ago

Very good episode.
What impressed me the most is the music. OMG, it's like watching henshin scenes in Kamen Rider series. The female lead, Hajime, was also very fun to watch. Rather than being clueless and freaked out over things, she just went naturally with the flow with her overly energetic personality. I hope they're going to introduce the main antagonists as soon as possible, cause watching our heroes fighting random enemies is just boring |

That was surprisingly awesome. The art was really interesting, and that music is embedded in my SKULL.
I like Hajime a lot for a lot of the same reasons everyone else has mentioned: she just takes it all in, and says "Cool!" a lot. I can see that some people may find her intensely annoying. (Viewers aside, her coworkers may not warm up to her so easily.) The MESS are a little on the bland side, in that a Rubik's Cube doesn't really fill me with dread, unless it's full of IRS agents, or rabid grizzly bears, or rabid grizzly bear IRS agents. Are they just going to pay Hajime in notebooks? I think she'd be cool with that. >_>a Also, eyebrows! |

Hajime is one of those rare MCs that accepts her destiny and new role as defender of the earth with a big smile in her face :> . Anyway great intro episode, mostly tight visuals and ok music. Utsu-tsu is delicious as expected and the cast in general looks solid enough.
OP video/song great like it was already mentioned and I like the ED song a lot but the video not so much. |
