I wouldn't be surprised if someone actually made a website dedicated to finding all the Easter Eggs and references in this movie (though we'll probably have to wait for the BR/DVD to get the frame-by-frame analysis).

Well, it's not a frame-by-frame analysis as I predicted, but someone already compiled a preliminary list of easter eggs spotted in this movie (which includes anything from a full-blown character cameo to a mere logo sticker on a wall):

I just saw the movie. It was great fun!

I really don't want to ruin the fun of those unspoiled people who still want to see the movie so I won't say much:

Those of you expecting to see the Gundam RX-78-2 making an impact in the movie, well......you'll certainly get it!!! This first appearance of Gundam in Hollywood will left you wanting more .
This movie also beat a certain kaiju franchise to the punch when it comes to bringing one of the most famous monsters to Hollywood and use it effectively.
Fans or those who know a certain horror movie will also feel serviced by one of the movie's arcs. I certainly am .

That was Steven paying homage to his old pal Stanley (whom he inherited A.I. Artificial Intelligence from).
