Rindou is even more energetic than before. Takumi is going to get eaten alive

I didn't really understand why Hisako was so shy about offering Erina some tea. Isn't it pretty much part of her daily routine? Anyway, it's nice that everyone is out of the cage. Would have liked to see more Alice.

^I pretty much agree. It does seem like it'll go similarly to that.

@Kanon: Yeah, I'm also glad that they're out of the cage. When they broke out, though, I was wondering why and how they put in so much force that it broke the cage. Did they want to go and hug Souma that badly?

Yeah, I agree. And Shokugeki no Soma is a cooking manga, so that sword, too, is wasted here.

It was nice to get remembered that Hisako is a great waifu material again in this chapter. It had been long overdue to see the side of Hisako.

As for Urara's sudden change of attitude (from bad to nice announcer), I wonder whether it was always intended or it was pure pressure from the readers (or editor) that they don't like evil and rude Urara?

And once again that Saitou (and Nene) has shown that both of them are never meant to be the part of Corrupt 6. As usual Momo is pretentious as hell. Hope that "Queen" Erina will destroy her so hard that he become mentally retarded or she was mentally get enslaved by Erina forever.

So the outcome of Round 4 is kinda predictable to the end and Round 5 will be definitely Erina + Soma vs "weakened" Rindo and Tsukasa.

It was sad (for me) that Megumi will be always remembered as the person who had collected the most participant trophies in her entire career.

Watching that Takumi and Subaru are starting to bond as a real friend is kinda put me in smile. Both of them were used to be frenemy and I never thought that both of them will eventually end up as friend or comrade. I guess the new generation of Elite 10 that lead by Erina and Soma will be much closer and friendly than Rindo/Tsukasa era was.

Not only sword, even the character and fighting stance/pose was beautiful drawn. Just as I have said in my previous posts, the artist's talent is kinda wasted on a mere cooking manga.

At first we thought the rebels side would have the advantage because we believed most of the enemy members wouldn't be in top condition. But it's clear now that Rindou has fully recovered, Tsukasa probably fully recovered as well and Momo is still in good condition to have a second match in a row. The enemy side has 3 members left who are their top 3. The rebels side has 4 members but the average strength of each member is below that of the enemy's side. Isshiki and Erina are probably on Rindou's level at best. Souma is probably on Momo's level at best and Takumi is below Momo's level. So both sides' overall remaining strength are pretty much still equal.

I'm sort of creeped out by Takumi and Mimasaka. And I'm with Takumi and say he shouldn't become a full-on stalker. That'd ruin his character IMO. But either way, yeah, the two of them bonding and becoming friends could still be a good thing. Just so long as Takumi doesn't get into a stalker by Mimasaka's influence.

@AP24: Agreed. I wonder if Souma can get a power-up putting him at Erina's level during the final bout? If it's possible.

I can actually see azami stepping in and battling either soma or saiba, but possibly outside the regiment de cuisine. Possibly in an aftermath, or extra battle. I’m not sure about the context of the battle though; if the rebels does win the regiment, they’ve basically take back totsuki. Why would they face azami afterwards? What does he have to offer?
The Edge(Azami) will most likely pull something before this all ends. The question is what will he pull?

I am hoping at some point we will see a Erina and Azami or Senzaemon vs. Soma and Joichiro battle at some point. Most likely after Azami stop being so edgey.

I can't be the only one who want to see Senzaemon cook.

If it's a friendly battle between Souma's side and the Nakiri side, then it would be good. But if it's an edgy battle? I don't want that. If it's an edgy battle, then I'd rather have Souma and Erina on the same side.

if your prediction is actually become real, that is.... basically.. the best ever development that could happen

Finally after lots of chapters, we could see Erina's Shokugeki against a fair enemy

Part of it is already true since Erina vs. Momo is happening. Takumi vs. Tsukasa is probably also going to happen, and then Isshiki vs. Rindou if Isshiki cooks in this bout. Wish he will if Souma isn't going to.

Just realized even if Megumi, Takumi and Mimasaka are currently above Hayama, that's only because for the past month they had been training hard while Hayama most likely didn't improve his skills after being expelled like the other first years. So Hayama might regain his superiority over them by the time the next school year starts.

I wouldn't be too sure of Megumi and Mimasaka being above Hayama. Even with training they still haven't beat an Elite 10 member. At least Takumi manage to beat Eizan, although that achievement isn't much since Eizan has become a comedic character.

Just because they didn't beat an Elite 10 member doesn't necessarily mean they aren't above Hayama. It could be that they're above him, but not so much that there's a huge gap. So I agree with what AP24 said.

The matches in the regiment have shown that all of the 1st years participating should be at least 2nd year Elite Ten level or above. Hayama was in the Elite Ten but he was ranked below the 2nd years, so even Megumi and Mimasaka currently should be above him even if slightly.

The gap is close, I think. But Hayama can easily catch up. The upcoming generation of Elite 10 would be so interesting to watch.
