BACKGROUND

Antigone's story started about three or four generations ago, in 1947, when a
female midchildian mage, named Lea Cardellino, ran away from a fight that turned
out for the worse.
Tracked down and severely wounded, Lea has to resort to multiple interdimensional
portal spells to escape her foe. She ended up on Earth, in Greece, during the
post-WWII greek civil war, with almost no magical energy left, her linker core was
damaged by both the fight and the overuse of her spells, on the brink of death,
where there are little to no magic and no way to get back to her homeworld.
She was found along with her device, that reverted in its sealed form as a notebook,
by a royalist army grunt who assumed she was one of the victims of the war. Her
wounds were critical to the point she was left mute even after she recovered way
later. She has fallen in love witht the soldier that nursed her and married him
after the war was over, founding a small library business with him, keeping her
sealed device in a safe.

Generations later, Antigone was born, Lea, whose husband has died of old age, has
witnessed a magical potential in her great-granddaughter, but knowing that she would
pass away soon, she configured her device so it would activate when it would come
in contact with Antigone, and left a letter for her, hinting clues that would
lead her great granddaughter to a treasure. Lea then joined her husband, knowing
that her remaining power has passed on Antigone.

Since her childhood, Antigone was seen as a nice, friendly but sometimes odd girl who
has an interest in occultism, unusual for a girl of her young age, an interest that
was upkept by her familial environment.

She was ten when her mother gave her a letter written by her late great grandmother,
hinting her about a treasure she has to find by herself.

She did and unlike most of normal people would do in her situation, she found a lot
positive things and a source for happiness when Lea's device, she renamed Arcana
Antediluvia, bound itself to her.

As a mage, she learnt to send an astral copy of her person to become friend with
transdimensional entities she would call later in battles got caught in. This is
how she bound her linker core to various creatures, especially a warrior named
Arngrim who would be his main protector against her future troubles.

She used her powers to travel through the world, but also learning the languages she
needed. What she enjoyed the most were the visits of ruins belonging to lost
civilizations and encounters of people she managed to befriend with her friendly
personality.

It was during one of her trips she has found the other half of the sea dragon pearl
necklace. Informed by her device, she looked for the other half of the necklace,
fearing what would happen if it fall in ill-intended hands.

It was the beginning of her short-lived rivalry with Pranee that would draw the
intention of the TSAB, and its intervention.

After the TSAB got an explanation from the both girls regarding everything about
their past and how they got into contact with magic, it offered the both girls
to join them, so their skills would not be wasted.

Antigone accepted it as an opportunity for many wonderful encounters. Before to
leave Earth, she sent a letter to her family, only telling them she has found her
path in life and that they should not worry about her.

In Mid-Childia, she learnt a lot of things from Caro regarding the art of summoning
and support magic, while the enforcer department is trying to find out the truth
behind the origins of Antigone's device.

Now, she is in Kyoya Kibagami's crew, in charge of the paperwork, ship's archive and
scholar task, assisted by Sieraza.

POWER

Antigone's power lies in summoning and support magic, she tries her best to stay
behind the frontline, providing support to her partners, something quite troublesome
when both Kyoya and Pranee tends to rush head first, without much second thoughts.

DEFENSIVE ABILITIES

* Barrier Jacket: Antigone's barrier jacket appears to be like a witch's robe with a
cape. A look at her ID pic will give you the idea.

* Trojan Wall: Her staple autoguard spell. It won't take much from strong attacks tho.

* Silver Aegis: It appears as a shining white light shield that can take powerful
attacks, only from a given direction.

* Andromeda's Chains: Antigone's bind spell, it first appears as a transparent
golden magic bubble that encase the enemy while dozen of energy chains will shoot
around him/her from thin air, bounding the target.

* Deadalus' Escape: This is how Antigone break a binding spell. How long it will
take will depend on the spell's complexity.

* Medusa's Gaze: This set-up a trap around Antigone that will cast a blinding
light. Just like the description, it will blind the attacker for a few seconds.
It's a counter-attack spell that comes handy when Antigone is dealing with
rushers, and needs to buy some time.




OFFENSIVE ABILITIES


Antigone's offensive relies on her summons. She gained them through her astral
trips in various planes of the multiverses, often linked to Earth's collective
subconscious.

They goes as follow:

- Kelpie, The Water Stallion: Antigone summons a water horse that can carries
on and under water, even providing her the oxygen needed to survive underwater
and lessening the pressure a bit, it's down to 30 meters where she start to
feel the pressure.

- Pegasus, The Mistral Mare: Antigone summons a copy of the mythical horse.
This is her main mean to get airborne. Pegasus will carry her from point A
to the closest and safest place, the speed being limited by his own natural
speed.

- Stymphalian birds, the brass feathered pests: She summons a flock of a four
birds as big as big vultures. On her command, they can fly to the enemy,
harassing him with beak or talon attacks, or shooting with their brass feathers.
They can only stay in this reality for two minutes. Then they disappears, while
Antigone has to wait for a while until she can summon them again.

- Arngrin, the Bear-coat Berserker: Antigone calls the famous hero to assist
her. He fills the same role as Lutecia's Garyu. He is a powerful warrior that
can give Signum a run for her money if he is properly supported by his mistress.
He will stay in the material world until he wins the fight or is defeated.
Antigone cannot summon anything else when Arngrim is summoned. If Arngrim is
defeated, Antigone cannot call him for some time.

- The Golem: Its her most powerful summon and the one that hog the most resource.
It can compete with Caro's Voltaire and obey to the same restrictions as the
dragon. It appears as the stone statue version of wierd mix of king kong and
a roman gladiator.

- Antigone has other summons, but they are either more the utilitarian kind
or for the sake of entertainment.

TRIVIA

Antigone often get, unintentionally, bullied by Pranee over her birthplace. The
thai girl liking the movie 300 a lot, maybe even too much.

She is one to get embarassed by her large chest and often wears baggy clothes
or ample robes that could hide her assets. This could explain why she was not
harassed by Kyoya yet. Sadly, it has not gone unnoticed by Pranee, Shamal or
Hayate.

She loves Caro and Erio, trying to act for them like a good friend, the oneesan
kind.

She have a very positive view on things, bordering on naive.


INSPIRATIONS

- Take Akari Mizunashi from Aria series, pour her personality in a gothic girl
to twist an archetype loading with prejudices, add a spoonful of wiccan and
occultism nut, and a load of servants as summons. There you have her.

- Some may think that Antigone + Arngrim = Ilya + Berserker. It was not intended.

- Expect a lot of "Ahee" from her.

- She was the hardest to justify when it comes to how she gets her hands on a
device.

Okay, after discussions with TK and LE in IRC, the White Tempest's weapons fit has been established as follows:

Speed: slightly higher than an XV in realspace, but 4x faster in dimension space.

Weapons: 5x Plasma Torpedo launchers, mounted in the following configuration: 1 top, 1 ventral, one on each side and one facing behind. Because both the ventral and topside launchers can fire past the bow, this means you can fire 2 torps forward.

Pulse turrets: x25, mounted all over the ship for coverage and broadsiding purposes, intended to primarily be CIWS but can support torps in shooting bigger ships. Can maintain sustained fire for five seconds, but then require a 5 second cooldown, else the power conduits get burnt out.

Wait now we need to figure out just how much stronger White Tempest's shields are compared to an XV...

It introduces several weaknesses into the chimera's DNA, and when it falls apart, you get a walking tumor.

The DNA can be stabilized by a good dose of wonder nanites, but technically, the nanite concentration needed would make the cytoplasm so dense that its slows down the chimera's metabolism to the point that even if it can move and manage it's metabolic waste, it becomes more like a rock than anything else.

The best I think we can do is attribute it to ranks or perhaps spell comparisons.

Something like, if an XV-class puts out a shield that's A-rank in power, then the Tempest's would be AA+-rank?

It'd be best not to use something that could be confused with the regular mage ranks. A completely different set of letters and numbers.

There is a great system out there for times like this. It is called SI. First, write out the XV's abilities in standard units using scientific notation (be prepared to defend your decision). Then, think how many times your "White Tempest" is than that.

"Sektor 21", the only known name to a faceless terror organization that continues to plague the TSAB.

Fueled by hatreds spawned by a war over a hundred and fifty years ago, this unknown faction of anarchistic terrorists have deep and far reaching roots across Mid-Childa, and throughout TSAB space. Attempts to investigate and isolate cells of this organization have gone nowhere. They have, time and again, been found in possession, and use of mass based weapons, sending fear and strife wherever they appear. How they accquire them is unknown, but one thing has been seen. They LOATHE mages, all mages, with few exceptions among their faceless numbers. Seeing mages and the magic civilization that has grown on the planet as an abomination, they have only one (admittedly ludicrous) goal. Annihilate the TSAB, and plunge Mid-Childa into a new era of 'freedom', while doing away with magic.

Admittedly, their priority to the TSAB has been low since they do not want anything to do with Lost Logia. And their lack of real capabilities have never placed them high on the TSAB's threat list, thinking them nothing more than annoying pests that constantly traffic illegal arms and incite skirmishes with Beaurau mages.

However, in recent months their activities have escalated, and their threat has become significantly greater.

With the end of the JS incident and the destruction of the Cradle, massive cleanup of the knocked out drones had to be performed... drones filled with examples of AMF tech. Recent incidents involving Sektor 21 's signature "Power Plant Attack" have shown the use of AMF to counter mages and cause more damage than ever before. General qualities: Sektor 21 operates under a common doctrine of hate for mages in general (with few tolerated exceptions as required for them to get their deeds done.), and a hate for the TSAB. They have been attempting to destablize Mid-Childa through terror attacks, many focused on various power plants powering major cities.

In the events of the story, they are making a bold move, theft of leftover weapons grade nuclear matierals (Uranium 235) from an antarctic safe storage site, in an attempt to build a nuclear weapon and detonate it in Cranagan. An attempt they see as a decapitation move that will wipe out the beaurau's Ground Forces, and throw Mid-Childa into chaos.

I'll develope it in more detail from here. It's late, I'm tired, goodnight.

Arriving to the Orbital Facility 354, where Jail Scaglietti and the Numbers loyal to him were kept, Yui and Rein waited in the Claudia.
Chrono accompanied Fate, Koji and Maren into the facility.
They showed their identifications, left their devices with the officer at the entrance and went in.

Another officer led them to the section of the prison Scaglietti was kept in, going trough several guards and heavy doors.
"As requested, we prepared a room with the specifications given to us: A soundproof room with video surveillance only." The officer said.
"Thank you." Fate replied as she walked with Chrono, Koji and Maren walked behind them.
(Fate must have went through a lot of trouble just to do this...but when it involves Scaglietti, she'll do just about anything.) Chrono said to himself as he heard that.

They entered the visitor's section, and were taken to the designated door, when they got there, Koji stopped.

"Fate-senpai, Maren...and Chrono-san." He said.
They turned to him, "Koji, what is it?" Fate asked.
"From this point, I'd like to go alone..." He asked.
"Eh? But..." Maren hesitated.
"Koji, aren't you forgetting something?" Chrono spoke.
"I am?" Koji blinked.
"Your rank isn't high enough to question a prisoner such as Scaglietti on your own." Chrono explained.
Fate nodded, "You have to be accompanied by at least an Enforcer or a Special Investigator."

Looking at them, Koji stayed silent for a while, "Then...Maren." He turned to her, "Could you accompany me?" He asked.
"Of course I will." She agreed with a nod.
"Thank you..." He looked at the door behind him, and started walking to it.
Following Koji, Maren entered through the door, closing behind her afterwards.

The officer then spoke to Chrono, "Would you like to watch the interrogation in another room?"
Fate turned to the officer, "Yes, please."
Chrono looked at Fate, "Fate, are you okay with this?" He asked, knowing how she felt about Scaglietti's 'work' and ideals.
"Yes, I'll be fine." Fate assured him.
"Then, please follow me." The officer took them to the observation room.

After walking in a short hallway, Koji and Maren reached another door, he grabbed the doorknob.
(On the other side of this door, is Jail Scaglietti...) He said to himself.

"Koji-sama?" Maren looked at him, who stood still with his hand on the doorknob. "Is everything alright?"
"Eh?" He snapped out of it, "It's nothing..." He replied.

Koji took a deep breath and opened the door...

It was a small cubic room, and in it, was Dr. Jail Scaglietti wearing plain white clothes of a prisoner, sitting on a chair with his shackled wrists resting on the table in the center of the room.
Behind him was another door, probably where he came from, leading to the prisoners' section where a guard is waiting to escort him back to his cell.

As Scaglietti saw Koji and Maren come in, he smirked.
"How disappointing, I thought Enforcer Fate Testarossa was going to interrogate me..."
Koji grabbed one of the two chairs on their side of the table and sat down, giving his reply, "Maybe next time."
Maren stayed behind Koji, her eyes shifted between Koji and the infamous Jail Scaglietti.
"I see...so, what would you like to know...Minawa Koji?" Scaglietti smirked.
Koji's eyes narrowed, Maren too, was surprised.
Calming down, Koji didn't jump the gun, "...About Treize."
"Heh..." Scaglietti smiled mischievously, "I'm sure you obtained a lot of interresting information when you examined her, right?"

Koji and Maren remembered...

[Flashback]
[MC 075 - September 25th]
At the High Tech Medical Center in Mid-Childa's capital, Clanagan, Maren, Koji and Yui took Treize for a complete physical scan.
Having more experience in Combat Cyborg technology, Mariel was the one who performed the exams.

"What?" Koji, Maren and Yui said surprised as they heard the results.
Mariel nodded, "It's as you heard...tests reveal that Treize's DNA is composed of several types of DNA from the other Sentoukijin, as well as Jail Scaglietti's ..."

"And what about the signs of sleepiness she has from time to time?" Maren asked.
"About that..." Mariel pressed a button, and a display appeared with more data of Treize's physical exam.
"If she only experiences that, then her body must be compensating the loss, because it seems that her Linker Core was removed."
"Treize's Linker Core?" Koji said surprised.
"Yes, there are residual traces of it left in her body, so she was probably 'born' with one...but because she was meant to be a Sentoukijin, it would interfere with her functions...so..."
"Will Trei-chan be okay?" Worried, Yui asked Mariel.
"I have to admit, Jail Scaglietti made an impressive job in creating Treize, there are no anomalies with her, except her low stamina. But with time, her body will compensate that and she'll grow into a healthy girl." She assured them.
Everyone sighed in relief.
"Mariel-san, thank you." Koji said.
"No problem, everyone's worried about her anyway." Mariel smiled at Treize.

"Why did you extract her Linker Core?" Koji asked.
Scaglietti played along, "My inicial intention was to leave it inside her...such a fine Linker Core."
"Alas, I didn't have time to do what I had in mind: a hybrid of mage and sentoukijin, immune to AMF and capable to perfectly emulate a mage's spell and improve it further." He grinned as he imagined it.
They listened to Scaglietti's boasting.
"But even without it, she's still a work of art, and would have been a excellent addition to my Numbers." Scaglietti added.

"Too bad...From now on, Treize will be treated as regular child." Koji said.
"Will she?" Jail raised a sarcastic eyebrow. "Aren't you aware of Mid-Childa's society? They see my creations as freaks of science." He smirked.
"In time, that will change, I'm sure of it." Koji countered.
"Yes, as long as there are people like us, times will change." Maren added.

Scaglietti chuckled, amused, "You are truly interresting specimens."
Koji's eye twitched, "What do you mean by that?" Koji glared at Scaglietti.

"Oh...I'm sure Enforcer Maren should know what I'm talking about..." Scaglietti looked at her from the corner of his eye.
"You must mean the attack to the TSAB Ground Central...September 12th. I fought Number 3, Tre, and she found out that I wasn't human."
"Indeed." Scaglietti said, "Even though conventional means can even detect a familiar in human form, you are identified as a human. My methods, on the other hand, are much more advanced and managed to detected that you weren't, but didn't reveal what you are. I would have loved to have analyzed you."
"Keep such comments to yourself..." Koji glared at him.
"Oh, my apologies." he replied with a tone of irony. "I have obtained information on her confidential personal file too...very interresting: You were recruited two years ago in another world by Admiral Mizetto Kurooberu, one of the legendary admirals, and trained by her. That made you rise through the ranks in an instant until you got to Enforcer."
"You hail from Elphora, a world that refused to be administrated by the TSAB. Years after the alliance, the dominant nations entered in a war and ended up destroying each other, leaving a trail of destruction between them." Jail paused. "But the TSAB did nothing to stop it."
"Further investigation led to a certain family in that world that were known not only for their reputation but for also having a powerful Guardian Beast in their service...who remarkably looks just like you."

Scaglietti was enjoying poking on her past, just the look on her face as she remembered those events were deliciously entertaining.
He had spent some free time getting information on her before being captured, and now he had the chance to use it.
"Also..." Before Scaglietti could continue, he was interrupted.
"Enough!" Koji said seriously.

"Hooh...Are you jealous?" Scaglietti amusedly asked, "Don't worry, I have information on you too...a lot of it."
Koji stayed silent.
"After all, I have to keep track of my...experiments."
Surprised, Maren let out a small gasp.
"Oh, she doesn't know?" Scaglietti glanced at her, but returned to Koji, who glared at him.
"So, you were behind it...that group in the icy world three years ago." Koji accused him.

"Not really." Jail said. "I simply gave them a Relic to play with." He smirked again.
"Using them as lab rats?" Koji continued.
"Precisely, and they used it just as I predicted...though the final results were unexpected, they were very satisfying."

Jail looked at Koji with 'those eyes', the eyes of utter excitement, "Experimental Relic Weapon Number 3, Codename: Heart Waver."
"You can read other's emotions as if you were feeling them yourself, and use that in your advantage to sway their hearts." Jail paused.
"Even though you didn't receive the Relic's full power it is still very effective, seeing that you made Cinque betray me."

"She was never on your side to begin with, she cared more about her sisters." Koji said.
"Are you sure? Or is that what you want to believe in?" Jail asked him.
"What?"
"Yes, Cinque cares deeply for her sisters, but she was loyal to me as well, but when she was exposed to your words and ideals, it shook her heart." He explained.
"..." Koji kept silent, he himself didn't know to what extent his 'ability' works.

"So, how does it feel like? Having the fragment of a Relic inside you? Having that power?" Jail smirked.
Koji gritted his teeth, "I learned to live with it..."
"But you despise it don't you? Barging into people's hearts even if you don't want to...even as we speak you are reading my heart, tell me, what do you feel?"

Koji grimaced, "That wretched thing can't even be called a heart...Even now you're overflowing with twisted desires and ambitions."
Jail's eyes narrowed as he grinned evily, "Feels good doesn't it? This endless hunger."
Disgusted, Koji got up and turned his back, "I'm done talking..."

As Koji walked to the door, Jail spoke, "...One more thing."
Without turning, Koji replied, "What?"
"Do you know the number of the Relic that gave you that power?"
"...No."
"Then allow me enlighten you...it was...Relic number 11!"

Hearing that, Maren and Koji were shocked, "T-that's..."
Jail smirked, "The Relic Lutecia wanted to save her mother, yes." But then he added, "How does it feel to have stolen the time that Lutecia could have spent with her mother?" He started laughing.

Koji couldn't take it anymore, "Maren, let's go."
"Y-yes!" Maren replied.
Koji opened the door and left.
Maren looked at Scaglietti, "If you weren't already in custody, I would have made you regret the words you just spoke..." she said seriously.
But Scaglietti kept smiling with satisfaction, "Come back anytime, eh...Ahahahaahahah!!!"

If it weren't for the soundproof walls, Scaglietti's laughter would have been heard all over that section of the facility...

Koji left the interrogation room at a quickened pace, Maren, Fate and Chrono went after him.
"Koji?" Fate said surprised as she saw him go like that.
Maren didn't say anything, and just followed him.

Having checked out of the facility, their devices were returned to them, then, they boarded the Claudia.
As they entered Claudia, Yui and Rein were waiting for them.
"Onii-chan how did i-ah!" Koji just passed by Yui and Rein without saying a word.
"Koji-sama?" Rein saw him go.

"Koji!" Chrono shouted at him, he stopped.
"You don't need to hide it, if you want to be angry, just let it out." He said.
As they waited, in that awkward silence, Koji slammed his fist against a wall.
The girls were surprised by that action, but didn't say a thing.
(C-Curses!) he said to himself, (He knew I'd come to him for answers! He was probably waiting for those questions too!)
(He teased me by showing he knows about Maren's origins and what happened to me, that ever since the incident he's been watching my every move...)
He ignored the pain on his fist, (And now this, Relic number 11...If Lutecia's mother never wakes up, it'll be my fault! In the end, it's all my fault!) He needlessly blamed himself.

Worried, Maren was going to try to talk to him, but hesistated.
After staying quiet for a while, Koji backed off from the wall, turned his back to them, "Leave me alone for a while..." He said.
As Koji was about to walk, Chrono called him, "Koji..."
"Chrono-san, ple-" Koji was about to turn around when he saw a white fist, then, intense pain on his left jaw, followed by a fall to the floor.

"Onii-chan!" Yui said surprised.
"Koji-sama!" Rein and Maren said.
"Chrono?" Fate looked at him.
"Stay right there!" Chrono shouted, stopping them.

"W-Why did you do that for?" Koji looked at Chrono.
Chrono looked down on him, "Do you think you're going to solve whatever problems you have on your own?"
"That's none of your business!" Koji talked back.
"Yes it is!" Chrono countered. "Right now, you're in MY ship, so it is my business!"
Koji got up, wiping the blood off the corner of his mouth.

"We don't know what you talked about, but whatever it was, you didn't like it. Now, either you talk to us about it, or I'll keep hitting you until you do!" Chrono said very serious.
"Chrono-san...I'm not in the mood for that right now..." He replied in a restrained matter.
Chrono's teeth gritted, he grabbed Koji by the collar of his uniform, "Dammit! Why are you always so stubborn?" He shook him.
"C-Chrono! Please calm down." Fate tried to reason with him.
But then, both were surprised when the looked at Koji, his right eye turned golden along with an angry, but contained expression.
"It would be best if you'd let go of me, Chrono-san...before things get messy." He warned him.
"che..." Chrono let go of Koji and he straightened his uniform and walked away.

"Rein has never seen Koji-sama with such a scary face desu..." She said as she sat on Yui's shoulder.
"Onii-chan..." Yui muttered in a worried tone.
"He must be keeping all the frustration inside him..." Fate worried as well.
Maren turned to Chrono and bowed to apologize, and went after Koji.
Chrono looked at them go, "I'll be in the bridge." and walked off.

Here it is, lots of revelations, be it Koji, Maren or Treize.
Also a 'peek' on Koji's negative side

I was thinking in making Koji and Chrono duke it out, but in Koji's current state, he'd lose his temper and start slicing things apart

I have to agree with the rest. Koji is getting Mary-Sueish (although imo he got mary-sueish when he bonded with Maren and got a powerup). Koji got a bit too many good things happening to him and so on...

Also I feel that Koji got a bit too insubordinate and familiar with Chrono considering the rank difference between them. Chrono feels rather OOC in this chapter as well. He's usually rather by-the-book most of the time so him actually hitting Koji does not seem to compute.

BUT, there is 1 thing you can do to change this: change either the Relic Number, or the source of the ability...say a neuroscience experiment gone wrong. Humans only use 10% of their brain...who knows what's in the other 90%...?

While Julie’s Boost Jump is more powerful than that of Asagi and Mayura’s, Julie can propel herself even farther by going though an oversized Gunner Wizard ring, essentially using herself as a projectile. While used mostly to enhance her mobility, this move can also be used offensively, with Julie blasting herself towards her enemies. This move can also be used to give Julie a form of “pseudo-flight” by “bouncing” into rings while in mid air to keep herself aloft, and in this manner the move is called “Ring Hop”. This move is quite dangerous with Julie having no control of her flight path once in the air, with the massive amount of energy needed to create such massive rings complicating matters, and is used only when absolutely necessary.

Aurion’s Acceleration Field can be used in much the same way.

Asides from her Seven Swords, Julie also keeps an hefty load of physical throwing knives on her person. Julie can throw these knives using her Wizard spells to enhance their effectiveness, and her favorite method of using them is to summon all 6 of her Slash Wizard Rings around her and “load” them with knives using her teleport spell before unleashing them in a salvo against her enemies. As these Wizard Rings are maintained for as long as Julie needs them to she can keep loading them with knives, pelting her opponents with rain upon rain of knives, until her enemies are annihilated or she runs out of ammo.

This magically-taxing technique is similar in principle to Blade Storm, but using Julie’s Strike Balls and Gunner Wizard Rings instead. While Julie can only summon up to two Strike Balls she can keep creating them as long as her magic holds out, essentially giving her unlimited ammunition, unlike with her knives. Since Julie can only summon two balls at a time she needs a minimum of only two Wizard Rings, although she can enhance each ball’s already potent destructive power by using 3 rings per ball. And with each ball’s “Bunshin Makyuu” splitting ability she can unleash a wide-area torrent of magical explosive firepower at any spot where lots of death and destruction is needed, making it Julie’s most powerful technique.

Most powerful? The final two OMNISLASH attacks beg to differ.
Though this idea computes more than Blade Storm for me.

Sturm Bolt –

The best and most concise way to describe this move would be: A Gunner/Blaze Impulse-propelled Baseball Bat, typically Julie’s Shuriken Bat, with a 90% knock-out rate. This is Julie’s most effective weapon anti-stupid weapon.

Now THIS should be her most powerful attack!

Blade Breaker –

While Julie’s Seven Swords are too valuable to be used as mere Wizard Ring ammunition, there have been cases when Julie has used them as such against powerful enemies due to their power and enhanced magical abilities. Julie can launch up to six of her swords at once in Blade Storm fashion, though their uniqueness means using them in this manner is a one-shot affair, and she’ll have to recover her blades manually, though she can use her teleport spell to “recall” them if they’re less than 10 meters away.

Awesomeness! I’d hate to be hit by the Wolsabre…

Buster Homerun –

One of Julie’s strangest uses for her Shuriken Bat is to use it to deflect and redirect an enemy ball-type physical or magic shot by batting it right back at them, which is accomplished through a specially-cast Triangle Shield on the batting head. While its practicality in combat is questionable, it has proven to be a useful move in certain cases, the threat of collateral damage aside.

Most unique move in her arsenal, I must say. How powerful can this be? Around AA-ranked projectile deflection?

OMNI Slash –

Julie’s most powerful single sword technique, this is one of her more powerful trump cards. Julie charges at her enemy using Sonic Move with a dashing slash. If it misses, Julie maintains momentum by bouncing off a waiting Gunner Wizard Ring and recasting Sonic Move, redirecting her charge at the enemy in the blink of an eye without losing speed. By changing her orientation and deflection from each “bounce”, Julie can attack from different directions each time, confusing her enemy and allowing her to press on the attack until he is overwhelmed. This technique allows her to maintain the advantages of Sonic Move without its time limitations, and it can be used to overwhelm a single opponent, or an entire battalion of foes.

Though powerful, the intense forces on Julie’s body from the abrupt and nauseating changes in direction and constant high speed movement can leave her highly exhausted and strained, and if her attack fails she would be too weak and incapable of defending herself from attack.

And yes, that should be nauseating. Aurion subjected Keroko-chan to a similar situation when they had the mock battle six years ago, using several closely-spaced Acceleration Field to bounce her around unwillingly like a Ping-Pong ball. Needless to say, it was dazing. In a bad way…(And considering Keroko-chan’s uncontrolled motion-sickness…)

Blade of Vengeance: OMNI Blade –

The ultimate of Julie’s Special Moves, and her most powerful melee technique, feared by all those who’ve seen its power. The OMNI Blade is a remarkably simple concept on paper: At the first opportunity Julie launches her enemy high into the air with a powerful strike, then assaults the enemy with OMNI Slash while at the same time launching a random sequence of timed Blade Breakers with 6 of her swords. By recalling each sword before it gets out of her range and re-launching them through Wizard Rings from different directions Julie can unleash an unceasing barrage of swords from all sides that will tear apart even the toughest enemies till he is utterly and unquestionably obliterated. For those unlucky enough to have forced Julie to use this technique, it is like a hail of blades descending upon them from all sides – from above, below, left, right, front, back, and everywhere in between - leaving them with no room to escape.

This ultimate technique is incredibly difficult to execute, for Julie not only has to attack the enemy at high speed, but also coordinate the launch, recall, and relaunch of all 6 flying blades – and timing her attacks to not get hit by her own weapons, on top of evading and anticipating enemy counterattacks and maintaining her own altitude with Wizard Rings. This overwhelming complexity makes this move extremely dangerous and risky for Julie to perform under normal situations, and it is a move most effective only against individual targets and opponents.

Also, the very nature of the OMNI Blade makes it impossible for Julie herself to WANT to use it, no matter the situation; As the sadistic epitome of excessive overkill, only Trisha, Julie’s persona of vengeance and hatred, has the mentality and killer desire to execute this move flawlessly, and thus OMNI Blade can only be unleashed when this Avenger takes over the reins.

So far, this move has only been recorded in action only 4 times in Julie’s entire life so far – with all four victims successfully terminated with extreme prejudice, including recently the infamous S-ranked rogue Knight Sven, which helped spread the terrifying legend of this technique amongst criminals and the TSAB alike.

Screw physical strength! Julie is hands-down the most powerful Belkaranger at her absolute best/worst(depending on who’s point of view)!!!

- Depending on which persona is currently active, Julie addresses Asagi in different ways.

As Ocean, she addresses Asagi as “Leader”.
Rin and Dell call her “Asa”.
Rusty refers to her as “Ms. Colwell”.
As Virgil, she’s known as “Sister”.
Tury playfully calls her “Big Sis”.
Yen’s name for her is “Comrade”.
Catty calls her by her complete name “Asagi Colwell”.
Tara has nicknamed her “A” or “C”.
Saul doesn’t refer to Asagi by name, only by “You”… as he does to everyone else.
And finally, Trisha strangely enough refers to her as “Asa-nee”.

This is typically the method by which most people who know her recognize who Julie’s current persona is in charge. Strangely enough, Julie more or less calls Mayura by “Mayura” or “Mayu” no matter which persona is in charge, asides from Saul.

- Julie’s disguises are more or less perfect to the point that most mages would need to concentrate in order to pick out her unique magical signature. Strangely enough, Asagi can confidently identify Julie at a glance no matter what disguise she uses, unlike Mayura who would have difficulty picking out the girl without at least a proper scan.

As to be expected from Red.

The only time Asagi has failed to identify Julie’s disguise was then the latter disguised herself as Mitsuomi Takahashi, the actor behind Boukenger’s BoukenRed, in order to lure the stalking and awe-struck Asagi away from the real Takahashi and prevent an embarrassing disaster from taking place. Thankfully the matter was resolved without much incident, and the Belkarangers got to claim their individual mementos from the star.

Her all time favorite Toku character though is Shurikenger from the Super Sentai title “Ninpuu Sentai Hurricanger”, reflected in her use of his costume as one of her barrier jacket designs. The character’s story as a faceless ninja forever disguising himself as other people is one of his appeals to Julie’s own predicament, not to mention his love of baseball and over-the-top attitude, and when using her incidentally named “Shurikenger” form she copies out his mannerisms almost perfectly. When speaking about him, Julie always refers to him as “Shurikenger-sama”.

- Ever since she could remember, Julie has had an incredible aptitude for acting and drama. This aspect of her makes a lot of her duties as an infiltrator possible, and it is also the base for her representation of her various personas. Despite this talent though, Julie has repeatedly denied the invitations, requests and suggestions of her entering show business.

Similarity with Aurion found (he’s a qualified actor). Maybe they could do an co-ed infiltration on one occasion.

- Julie has incredible access to all manner of digital and human intelligence resources, all due to the influence of her eldest brother and current head of LM Digital Andrew Liu Ming, who has lots of connections in various intelligence agencies in Ordered Space due to their reliance on equipment and services provided by their family’s company, and her sister Tina, who works as a TSAB Intelligence field agent. While Julie is not cleared to access high-level sensitive information, she is still able to gain leads and tips on Lost Logia movements and locations from her sources, invaluable to SGS operations.

Just like Wang Liu Ming…

- Despite being the self-proclaimed romantic of the bunch, Julie has so far failed to attract or maintain a relationship with any guy she has been introduced to, most often due to… interference from her various personas popping out due to her almost chronic nervousness and confusion as Ocean when it comes to matters of love. Many horror stories abound, from Trisha threatening to cut off a suitor’s private parts, to finding out her partner had a Lolita complex when Tury showed up, and even Saul’s body appearing just as her date French kissed her…

Ouch! >_<
She needs some more confidence on those circumstances…
But then again, it could land her on the better guy in the end.

o Binds of Light: A bind that targets the arms and legs.
o Final Cross: A ranged energy slash in the shape of a cross. Its quite quick and can cleave stone.
o Western Moon: Another ranged energy slash that resembles Final Cross but on contact instead explodes with power to pulverize stone into fine powder and sunder iron.
o Vengeance: A interesting 'support' spell. Improves Vivio's natural physical abilities (i.e. strength and speed) for a five minute duration - however at the end the exhaustion will catch up with her.
o Holy Shield: Full-body defense spell that prevents movement but is extremely powerful - costs a cartridge.
o Crusade: Essentially a more powerful Vengeance that costs a cartridge and increases Vivio's physical prowess even more. Vivio's speed is essentially that of using a constant Sonic Move and is strong enough to split steel like wax paper. It however only lasts a minute and fatigues her far worse.

Crusade is HAXX...

On this note though I’ve decided to demote and power down some of my guys a bit as they’re a bit too strong IMO and it was hard to make viable threats for them.

That’s also why post strikers I’m trimming and reorganizing my stable a bit it was rather overpowering IMO so I’m breaking up my guys post strikers and having them shuffle around to various different bits of the TSAB so they can’t really mass in one place; several them also get power nerfs. (Cipher, Pixy, and to a somewhat lesser extent Felix mostly) Since as I said I was finding it was a bit difficult to come up with credible threats with them all together at their former levels; even the Haxbuster himself isn’t invulnerable to power creep…

Anyway the basic gist is:
Pixy: Ships off as the muscle for a lower ranked enforcer (a new OC)
Cipher: goes into Special Investigations (he’s such a monster I acutally want to keep him out of combat as much as possible)
“SG-1”: Largely disbands with everyone but Mitchell being put on a bus Daniel goes to work at the main branch, Carter spends most of her time in the R&D division, and Teal’c heads home to help stabilize the situation on his home world.
Felix: His post StrikerS actives will be the center of my new fic. (which is at around 7,000 words now and I expect to put out the first part sometime this week)
Alan: Bounces around a number of Air Force units right after Strikers gaining field experience in operating in normal units though he also appears in the fic and will be around quite a bit.
O’Neil: Continues amassing more power and influence then someone like him should really be trusted with and abusing it in amusing ways. He also appears a bit in the fic though more as background character.

The ideas are sound. ThoughI'd rather Cipher and Pixybe on the same power+skill-tier they were in the past.
