Welcome to the episode discussion thread about this week's upcoming episode which I, Vicious, will try to post this thread every Tuesday, to give sometime to fans discuss what will probably happen in the episode. Before I say the rules I just want to give out a warning that there might be spoilers of the Manga. You have been warned.

Anyway this is what you should discuss in this thread:

1. Expectations of the episode if not aired or if you haven't seen it yet.
2. Announcements of which fansub groups have released the episode regardless if it is a RAW or Subbed.
3. Your comments on the episode if you have seen it both RAW and Subbed.

Just to make it clear there is to be no making new topics about the above things I have just showed you. Any Naruto Moderator will close them down because I made this thread so all the posts regarding this topic will be in one place.

Furthermore, I'd like to ask people to let me, and only me, do the Episode Discussion threads every week. Why??, you may ask. Mainly, to avoid confusions and 10+ threads of eager people doing the episode threads. So, please, don’t make episode discussion threads without Dranz' permission.

Should be a good ep. Cant wait for it. A friend of mine just started watching Naruto again...and he couldnt stop watching from episode 68 to 77. Went straight through the night. Episode 78 will hopefully be great.

They're going to have some of the fighting start, Naruto getting his ass kicked, kicking Gaara's ass. Then Gaara will change into the bigger monster form. Then Naruto will stand still for about five minutes, recalling the good old days in the form of flashback sequences, then after five minutes, while Gaara has just been staring at him as he stood there like an idiot, Naruto will be like, " Oh yeah, I have to do something." And then it'll end with Gamabunta being summoned.

The episode after that, Gamabunta will fight for about five minutes, we'll get 15 minutes of flashbacks and discourse about "true strength," then it'll be the end.

Then the next episode, Gaara will transform into the complete form. That'll take approximately 15 minutes. Last five will be spent on the 3rd coughing up yet another pint of blood.

In the following episode, Gamabunta will be nailed by the sand balls or whatever. 15 subsequent minutes of Gamabunta telling Naruto he doesn't have much strength, sparsed with random Orochimaru finger twitchings.

Week afterards, the Fox henge, followed by 18 minutes of flashback and philosophical meanderings.

Next episode after that, Gaara will get head-smashed. Orochimaru will taunt the 3rd for yet another time.

Last episode of the Gaara-Naruto arc will be Naruto crawling towards Gaara for 20 minutes. The third will tell Orochimaru he doesn't know what true strength is.

So, it'll take almost two more months for the whole arc to end, probably.

It will end where chapter 134 ends. That's the standard two chapters and it would be a kickass ending for the anime as well. (It'll make you look forward to 79 soo much. )

For those that haven't read the manga in a while

it's where gamakichi convinces gamabunta to fight, and gamabunta says he'll show naruto the way of the family "it's payback time you hoodlum!"

That is, right before Gamabunta and Shukaku starts to fight.

"No more fillers"? What are you talking about? We haven't seen fillers since quite a few episodes. Gaara's flashbacks are no fillers, why can't people realize that? They are an important part of the story, you have to see them to understand why he's such a naughty boy (kinky). What fun would there be if he was just pure evil from birth? I mean, no such persons exists. No-one is born bad.
If you want an anime non-stop fighting rather than story and character development, you've chosen the wrong damn anime.

But yeah, I can't deny the fact that I've been waiting for Gamabunta and general asskicking too, even if I truly enjoyed Gaara's flashbacks aswell. Can't wait for the

lol ya that will be funny as hell. if they put any fillers in this ep it might just be added fight scenes like they did with the naruto vs neji match. either way this ep will be sweat. after i read this part in the manage (besides lees) i couldnt wait to see it animated. but i thnk it will end when gemabunta is summoned.

that's a nice breakdown, and wouldn't be at all surprise that it'll run that way with a few tweaks. let's just hope they're able to complete the arc in 3 eps with little to no fillers. good thing is, perhaps there's only three more hokage fight filler eps, then we can finally move on and not having to see it everytime you don't want it to be. but at least the conclusion would be a bit different, they actually move more than an inch.

I am pretty sure that this is what will be covered. I am just interested in whether or not we get a new opening or ending. I have yet to meet one that i don't like.

Episode will end with naruto talking about how to be truly strong. THen a very touching flashback to Haku and Naruto chraging up his Kyubi.

Here's my weekly speculatory post.

In the next episode Gaara and Naruto will stand still talking until about half way through. Naruto will then use uber-kyubi-kage bunshin, and gaara will find some half-assed way to stop it. Then naruto will spend 5 minutes remembering and recalling why he wants to be a ninja, his friends, why he wants to save them. Blah fucking blah in my opinion. I mean, we know Naruto's character for this by now and we know Gaara's thanks to some handy character development in the last few episodes. He'll then say his usual naruto asinine comment like "I can't lose to him, for my friends sake!!!!" We'll then see a checkup on Oro and Saru, no changes here from the last three episodes. Gaara will laugh his ass off and complete the transformation, and become the size of Mt.Rushmore. Naruto will then use his kyubi chakra to summon Gamabunta.
End of episode.

I"m just hoping that the can make this fight look really amazing like how i picture it in my head when i 1st read this in the manga. and i hope they show naruto and gaara lookin at each other with the sword between them, and the hole fox transformation. just the hole fight better lookgood.. and they better not go back to hokage and orochimaru till they r ready to finish that part of the story becuase that is just dam annoying sumtimes , those right there r fillers. but gaara's childhood isnt' , and i'm glad they put that in , it really gave his charactor true meaning and purpose behind his thinking and his actions
