Iam not sure about HJ canon story, but Iam guessing if she's like a ghost in the ova helping and guiding a blinded Tomoe, probably she is still there.

Hadn't noticed her there, but since she doesn't have any kind of ghost-like appearance, I'd say: definitely, can't get any more official than Eiwa's pic. I'd always suspected all along Shizuka's death was just one of the anime's crazy ideas, anyway.

Also, the Illustrated Stories did resume last week, a chapter called "Before the Storm". From a really confusing Google translation, it seems to go like the Queen's soldiers ambush Sigui and Annelotte and they join forces, Annelotte becomes involved in some kind of plan to kidnap Ymir, and Ymir introduces to Claudette their newest ally, Lyla. Next chapter is supposed to explain how Ymir gets the new Aldra to join the Queen's ranks.
I never thought Annelotte and Sigui would join so easily, and regarding Lyla, I wonder if it was Eilin who first introduced her to Ymir (Eilin and Lyla are friends, according to the official chart).

Izumi's wallpaper is available now, yours truly somehow got the first of the remaining Illustrated Stories translated, and Queen's Gate Kanu was properly announced at the HJ magazine:

If you notice on the upper part of the picture, they seem to be announcing a browser game called "Queen's Blade THE CONQUEST" for some time next year, that might be some kind of MMO.

And, in the latest Rebellion story, Melona is confirmed alive and well, as it seems she disguises herself as Annelotte to confuse Aldra.

Damn the new Airi figure looks 10 times better than the revoltech one.

as for the QB MMO hope it will be good.

Well, in the story's current state, Claudette is still the main antagonist, and has yet to be dealt with. The Marshland Witch has only been doing things behind the scenes. But since she's getting a combat book in the Rebellion arc, I suppose its possible she could be the antagonist of a second season of the Rebellion anime.
