DOOM: Eternal
RIP AND TEAR UNTIL IT IS DONE *ehem* Before anyone asks, this is a full sequel and not DLC. Unfortunately, we'll only get more info for it on QuakeCon this year, though at least we know we're getting more DOOM.

That's going way back! No, I'm referring to the previous 2016 iteration of DOOM, which made me jump from the GTX 500 series to a much more beastly card. My phone can run classic DOOM and DOOM 2 without challenge, after all

The gameplay reveal from last night's Quake Con presentation:
There's a segment featuring mouse & keyboard gameplay from 12:27 to 15:17, where they show just how fast the gameplay is, a far cry from the early trailers of DOOM 2016 when all they showed off was slow, pondering gameplay. MORE RIPPING MORE TEARING MORE BLOOD AND GUTS My Hype is at MAXIMUM!!!!!!

For those of you looking at that grapnel action and wondering about how it'll affect adversarial multiplayer... I wold be unsurprised to find out that the devs took cues from a certain remake of a Capcom classic (which is a good thing) Specifically:
I also noticed that there is an optional invasion mechanic. That's also welcome, and makes me wonder how come the FPS space has been bereft of such a thing since Perfect Dark and its counter-operative versus mode.
