Now that's nice... just hope they manage to do it right.
After all unlike in Japan where AFAIK it's ok to alter pieces of history in manga, games, novels and anime as work of fictions, sad to say the Filipinos are not the same and are not that flexible in those areas. For the younger generations millennials and up, don't see them ranting but for the older gens that is a different case. Case in point; if they (National Commission for the Culture and the Arts) made it a big deal when someone changes the rhythm even a little bit of the Philippine National Anthem "Lupang Hinirang/Chosen Land" of Jose Palma and Julian Felipe who live in same era as Jose Rizal in Pacquiao's fight, Josie Rizal of Tekken then this will not be an exception. Added note: Rizal is/was named as the Filipino's national hero during the American occupation chosen by the Americans during the American occupation/post Spanish occupation instead of the likes of Andress Bonifacio to solidify the pen is mightier than a sword and to have someone who chose a rather peaceful approach (annexation of the Philippines as a state of Spain and have the Filipinos treated as equal and not as slaves) to solve the 300+ years sufferings under Spanish occupation than a revolutionary as a model to benefit their own gain of that time but as the official sand of NCCA, that is not the case.
