Of course, but that's what happen with mangas with this amount of characters... sadly here the protagonist is Ippo, next to him is his eternal rival -Miyata-, there is the former glory -Date-, there is the big brother -Takamura-, there is the wise sensei -Kamogawa-, there is the "main villain" -Martinez-... Sendo, Mashiba, Itagaki, etc... they are supporters that play a role, but they are in a second line. Today no one remembers to the russian boxer... (Vorg?)

I STILL don't understand why Miyata HAD to drop the fight with Ippo. Even through he want to avenge his father defeat, couldn't he have fought Ippo again after fighting Randy Boy Jr?

that is most likely the cause taht willl happen. but, he had to drop the fight because Myata considers Ippo as his rival and when he learned of RBJ as he was ready to battle Ippo. and RBJ is his bigger rival. his dad had to quit boxing and he lost everyone in his life becasue of RBJ's dad. he is a bigger rival.

i remember vorg. He will probably fight ippo again. I bet vorg may have become a world ranker while fighting in the usa so ippo and vorg may fight in the ring again

They are registered under different associations and Japan unfortunately does not recognize the association Vorg is inlisted so I do not think they will fight each other again.
Beside I believe Vorg stepped up a weight class.

whoa, can't belive he got back up. now i guess the real battle begins. or it could be that he is unconchus(can't spell). we have seen that a lot in the manga. they are i think in round 7 which means they still have along way to go. so i doubt taht it will go to decision.

it was good to see the whole thing with the out with the old and in with the young. they want to settle it there way.

don't really know what is happening with the light thing but, after reading that i never though during this whole fight that Miyata would ever lose but, he now actully might. Randy was looking tottaly bada**. loved him when he stood up and was looking fearless and mad.

but reallt the possibility of miyata losing is pritty high now. 'the light' thing could go either way. this is why i love HNI. never expected it to come to this. thought that the chapter would be a long drag out of the count but, the manga-ka surprised me in a big way.

can't wait for the next chapter....

It doesn't matter, either way, a pro-boxer doesn't fight too soon... i think in 6 months. Time enough to both to prepare the combat...

i dont think in any reason who could give some chance to RBJ... Ippo has seen the whole arsenal of RBJ... Miyata opened that book and everybody has seen how to fight him... Ippo has lot more stamina that Miyata, i will not say that is a easy win, but Kamogawa is not blind, Miyata's dad has first hand info about RBJ...

If Miyata loose this fight, he will be losing the chance to settle things with Ippo and the chance to go to World Stage.

I'm trying to be logical, of course there is chance for RBJ... but a Shounen Action manga is a Shounen Action manga.
