I have suspicions that Balbarossa, the "undefeated" Muozinel general featured in Volume 4, might return in this second arc seeing as how prominent Muozinel's role is behind the scenes.

The lack of illustrations isn't even an issue; almost all who read the volume barely noticed it up until the end, and some people even have difficulty seeing Olga in the way the cover illustration portrays her as compared to the way the text details her. Myself included. The Olga that the cover illustration presents, is a very very different Olga from what the text conveys.

Kawaguchi Tsukasa-related work info: 千の魔剣と盾の乙女10 on sale this coming May, along with a Drama CD included! Hearing who will be voicing Phil is going to be priceless.

Seeing as 千の魔剣と盾の乙女 and 魔弾の王と戦姫 seem to be released on the same month, 魔弾の王と戦姫7 might be released this coming May as well. Can't wait to read about what happens to Sofiya!

It would have helped a lot better if you could have written the names in simple English.

It was not until the last line and number '7'that I realized that you are talking about Vanadis.

Well considering what Olga looks like, I think it'd be funny if Olga called Tigre Onii chan or just clung to him, like piggyback, when they came back together XD

overall, it's a decent spoiler. I really liked the Lumie scene.

As a whole, it's a detailed and highly gory scene if you fully imagine it. At the same time, the details and descriptions of a simple scene such as a hunt is what makes this novel so enjoyable.

Spoiler in Progress: Story begin with our hero Tigre hunting this "Super Buck" that had been eluding hunter and terrorizing villagers. He fire an arrow at it, direct hit on the throat....and it runs away. He came to here for two goals, one, get rid of this buck for the villagers, two, Lumie the dragon chased after it. So he came across the buck, and later Lumie. Lumie showed up after the arrow shot, and start to chase the wounded buck, found it dying, and sat on it to show Tigre the buck is save (I.E no final kick) Since he couldn't carry the whole thing, he start cutting it while feeding Lumie the liver (Lumie's affection increase +1) Lumie like Tita the most, but always drag Tigre to go hunting. After he come home, Lumie will treat him like a rock on the ground (Lumie affection -1) After deer meat gluttony dinner, long recap of his life, from Count @ 14---War, captive, War again, hero of the nation, resume prisoner status. Since ignorance will shame Ellen, besides hunting, he also is busy learning, history, war, politics, customs of Ziched, etc, etc. Lum come with homework everyday. Life is a painful experience. But Lum still give him some free time. So he was sent out to this village to deal with the super buck. At first the people praise him for being the Vandris's knight, but not many thought he was capable, so when he came back with the Buck's horns, they were amazed, the Buck previously surved a 5v1 fight with the village's best hunters (including the mayor), so they wanted to know how he did it. He kindly refused and left. Made it to town, then he met Tita with a new hairstyle. Tita has adapted well living in LaMitez, the other maids love her and Lumie just land on her whenever possible, Tita carry the little dragon and told Ellen/Lum is looking or him. Hero go to the manor, and the three first celebrated with a bit of grape wine, then told him the king ask him to be a secret emissary to Alvaree. Apparently, while Brune was having an civil war, the Alvaree king had a....indigestion. Upon his exit from this realm, the crown fell to the eldest boy, Jermaine?. After the funeral, the said prince decide to "liquidate" his brother and sisters". The second prince (Elliot) and the third princess got out the bloodbath alive. It goes without saying the second prince didn't find his brother's actions amusing, so he is raising an army (including pirates) to his side with the goal of shortening his brother...by a head or so, his brother was forced to escape from the capital. The princess apparently is not taking side but not likely to die before Bro A or Bro B meet their end. The Zitched King sent a letter, and request for him to support Brother Jerdaimine as a secret emissary, because he believe Elliot receive support from a third party that is hostile (Monzobllen?). A hostile Alvaree is also hostile to Brune as well. The girls suspect the Ztched king is using the chance to test Tigre's abilities as well as a chance to get him killed (He can tell at least two Vandris is really to open their legs for him, the idea of angry invasion from Brune for the death of their national hero and backed by two Vandris does not make him sleep well at night) Also, it appear the national policy will support Elliot for now (Hence tigre is secret), just like Mira in the last war. Mentioning Mira, the author tell us Mira showed up at LaMentiz at least 3 times since Tigre came, Ellen always told the guards not to let her come back again. Of course, no guards is suicidal enough to tell a Vandris that. >.> Mira's goals are 1) To learn about the progress of the road, 2) Make others think Ellen and Mira are friends, 3) get into Tigre's pants First try used gold to induce him, second time notice gold didn't work, sweet talk. Third time go hunting, that is when Ellen told Mira no way in hell. So Tigre agree, and leaves alone for Ashavree. Tigre also made Lum blush by saying Lum is like a Mom for packing him a huge ton of gear, and while Ellen was out so she couldn't see him off, she use her magic to send a good luck charm. whsie Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2011 Location: Seattle and Houston... sleeping in a car.	overall, it's a decent spoiler. I really liked the Lumie scene. Spoiler for spoiler: Tigre is sent by a village to hunt for this buck. Tigre stalks it, shoots it, and then... just waits. The reason for doing so is because he's not sure if the buck is really dead. If the buck suddenly sprang alive while he approached, he would be dead meat. Further, he's aware that a dead animal like that is a magnet for other predators. If he were to approach it immediately, he might get blindsided by another predator. Funny thing is, Lumie immediately flapped, flapped his way to the dead buck and Tigre just kind of laughed it off and slowly approached the buck. Tigre notes that the buck is too big, but he'll need to cut off the horns as proof and he'll shed the skin. This meant that he would have to leave all the gut and meat here. In Game of Thrones Tywin Lannister style, he starts disemboweling the buck, pulling its guts out, and shedding the skin off. He pulls the intestines out and throw it to Lumie. Lumie proceeds to chomp on it and when he's finished, he picks at Tigre's leg asking for more. Because Lumie's mouth is painted in blood, some of it stains Tigre's paints (yes, it's that detailed). After throwing more meat and Lumie had his share, he finally started napping. Tigre himself cooked whatever he could eat and left everything but the horn and skin as proof. As a whole, it's a detailed and highly gory scene if you fully imagine it. At the same time, the details and descriptions of a simple scene such as a hunt is what makes this novel so enjoyable. And like Archmirage said, Spoiler for spoiler: Lumie could care less about Tigre. He treats Tigre like a rock on the street (literal description). Lumie LOVES Tita. With that said, Lumie always follows Tigre in hunts like these. To this day, Tigre still has no idea why Lumie tags along. When Lumie first started to tag along, Ella said that it's fine for Lumie to tag along, but don't let him "get too wild". I.e. Don't let him fly off and escape into the wild. After the hunt, Spoiler for spoiler: The villagers were in utter disbelief of Tigre. Tigre is like, "it's nothing." The villagers thought about holding a celebration for him, but Tigre declined because Ella came into mind. The next morning, he wanted to slip away and when he went and bid his farewell to the elder, the elder was in tears asking Tigre to stay one more day to tell his story of how he hunted the buck. Tigre thought it was a real shame that he had to return, but he had to return. Like Archmirage said, when he got back, there was a brief summary of Arc 1. He sees Tita waiting for him and Tita informs him that Ella and Lili is waiting for him. What was waiting for Tigre? Why, a personal request by the king for Tigre to act as a secret emissary. Like Arch pointed out, it's a rather complex political situation at the other country. As for Tigre himself, he finds himself is a real bind. Tigre notes that he has only seen the king once. While the king showered praise on Tigre during their past meeting, the king's deep, void, and black eyes left a deep, chilling impression. He found it strange that the king gave him a personal request that was not to be on record. In the letter, the king stated that by sending Tigre as a emissary, he's suggesting to the prince that not only is the prince getting Ztched's support, but the prince is also getting Brune's support. The king noted that there was no one more appropriate than Tigre for this role because of his hero status in Brune and his current residency in Ztched under Ella. Now, when I read the king's letter, all the hairs on the back of my neck immediately stood up. It sounded nice, but my senses told me that there is something really, really wrong here. I could sniff a trap. Spoiler for spoiler: Tigre wasn't exactly in the mood to accepting this request, but at the same time, he felt it was impolite to refuse the king's personal request. Also, he had the concern about dragging Brune into this political situation. Simultaneously, he also felt that Ella was being forced to pressure Tigre into accepting this request because it was also the king's way of testing Ella's loyalty. In Arc 1, Ella mobilized the military with various excuses to the king. This time, Ella has nothing to offer to the king. As Tigre mulled over this letter, Ella decided to be transparent. She said that this letter is a way of the king to test Tigre's ability. First, it's to see if Tigre is strong or weak. If Tigre is weak, the king is dispose of Tigre and force Brune to take the blunt of the political blame. If Tigre is strong, Tigre can achieve glory for himself and also strengthen the proposed alliance with Brune tagged in as a bonus. Also, Ella guessed, if Tigre proves to be strong, the king can also determine whether or not to eliminate Tigre as a threat. Any way you look at it, the king wins in the end.
