Innovation seems to be near the lowest point I've seen in my experience with anime lately, so I think I'll try Sword Art Online (hopefully it's better than that awful movie of the same concept, "Stay Alive"), Natsuyuki Rendevous and to stay safe, Yuru Yuri S2.

Well, scratch that previous statement. It's not that it's uninnovative, there's just so much ridiculous and cliche plots nowadays that I'm really not jumping out of my seat to watch something. I liked the summary for Another, make another series that jumps out to me like that, onegai!

P.S. Stuff like Koko Naka ni Hitori and Dakara Boku wa...just...no. Please, no.

P.P.S. Damn though, it's OVA heaven. Time to catch up my favourites yet again, but I have no idea what to expect from Geass in Wonderland. If Nunnally drops acid and has a tea party with the crazies, I'll be here holding my sides in epic laughter (well, in a good way).

Yeah, it's not on the list, but on the official pages it was announced for Summer so I think we're all just going with that.

HORIZON is the only anime that is interesting for me to watch for now. Can't wait to see our lead guy go crazy and pervert again

Was just looking at that chart, here's what the summer looks like for me so far:

Trying out for sure:
Moyashimon Returns (just marathoned the first series so I'm all set!)
Natsuyuki Rendezous (the other noitaminA series which means an instant try)
Campione! (I'm amused at the concept of having a kid running around whose a "godslayer")
Sword Art Online (liking Accel World well enough and I liked .hack well enough so this seem sup my alley)
Rinne no Lagrange 2 (first season really grew on me so I'm coming back for more)
Jinrui we Suitai Shimashita (faeries!)

Possible, depends if it's streaming/reviews:
Chouyaku Hyakunin Isshu: Uta Koi (erm, the poetry one)
Hagure Yuusha no Estetica (sounds like a funny take on the old "kid goes off to another world to save the world" style plot)
La Storia della Arcana Famigila (like the artwork here)
Arve Rezzle (doesn't look like there's gonna be much sci-fi this season so I'll take what I can get, also sounds like the inverse of an American film from a few years ago, Surrogate)

Actually interested in a few of the movies coming out as well, Library Wars and Ookami Kodomo no Ame to Yuki but since there's no way I'll see them until the DVD rips come out I'm trying not to get too excited over them.

So, three continuing shows for me (Accel World, Eureka 7 AO, and Space Bros) plus five or seven new shows, should keep me quite busy indeed.

Well, Summer is always a weak season, and we were never going to have a huge season like this one twice in a row. Still, it looks at least mediocre rather than terrible.

Spring was a premise season - Summer looks like a director's season. Kingdom interests me, as Kamiya Jun also directed HnG. Kasai Kenichi doing an adaptation of the Hundred Poets. Matsuo Kou doing jousei on NoitaminA. Seiji Kishi tackling faeries. OTOH, I'd likely be very interested in Kokoro Connect if Oonuma Shin weren't directing it.

Both H dekinai and Hagure Yuusha are series with strong ecchi elements, especially Hagure Yuusha...... From my understanding from some spoilers, the later can be quite facepalming. But don't take my word for it.
Campione is Mythology + Harem, though fortunately it's not from MF, whose series do not go well with me for some reason, except for Haganai.

I'll check out Kokoro Connect for sure, since it has received increased attention since entering the top 10 spots of "This Light Novel is Amazing 2012".

Not until someone told me that Tari-Tari is a slice-of-life yuri comedy show, the second season Horizon is in my list until I got to see the first season.

Eek, with those character designs I was worried that HY might have a lot of ecchi material in it (which just isn't my thing), guess I'll really hold off until the reviews start coming out for that one.

Like I said, don't take my word with full face value, since I haven't read the series myself. The ecchi elements may be strong, but I'm not sure in what proportions will they be with respect to the main plot

Excited for:
--Sword Art Online (Main character gets more praise than the female...now THAT's intriguing me above everything else.)
--Natsuyuki Rendevous (Kou Matsuo is a really creative guy, LOVED Kure-nai and the art is beautiful. This is exactly what I want to see)
--Rinne no Lagrange 2 (More Maru and "Woof", but I think it'll get more serious)

Waiting for, not necessarily excited about:
--Horizon season 2 - More Tori, more historydumping and less obnoxious stone tits.

--Dog Days season 2 - Season one was good until it suddenly wanted to be really serious, and that irked me. I'll give it a chance because DAT SEIYUU CAST.

--Koi to Senkyou to Chocolate: It looks intriguing for a harem series and solid seiyuu (Asami Imai <3) are behind it.

--Kokoro Connect: Another Silver Link/Shin Oonuma work. Honestly, I've given up on these two giving us a good plot so at least bring on some comedy or nice characters to compensate for a lack of plot. The K-ON design is burning my eyes though..

Maybe:
Tari Tari - Another P.A. Works show so It'll look nice, but Hanasaku Iroha 2.0?

Everything else is stupid ecchi harem crap (the guy from Dakara Boku wa H ga Dekinai has this annoying face I want to punch), imouto nonsense or filled with bishies.

Maybe Vinto de Pint depending on what it turns out to be.

Also maybe Ebiten

That's all that interests me so far really...

Dunno whether to try Campione or not....The novel is rather....HS DxD-ish....not something really noteworthy unless you have extra time to kill. Heh, maybe I'll watch if I have time in that case.

My impression is that Campione is more IS-ish than DxD-ish, with respect to ecchi-ness, not referring to plot.

I'll have only up to four titles to consider watching, because it seems that most of the offerings might not be right for me.
