Dead Space (Horror Survival Game)
I don't think there is a thread on this game yet at least when I used Search I didn't find any threads.
 Dead Space A over the shoulder-shooter survival horror game. It has pretty good rating on it so far from many game review sites. It has a online video comic that tells the events before the game plot and a animated film telling the events that lead up to the game. If anyone is interested here is the trailer for the online video comics, the animated film and the game. Spoiler for No spoilers, but the trailers contain a lot of blood, gore and swearing...be warned:
I am currently playing the game and I have to say that it is different from most FPS or 3rd person shooter horror games. You can't pause the game by going into inventory so monsters will and can wail on you if your not careful. The main character who you play is not in any kind of military and has no combat training. He's just a ship engineer so the only armor and weapons you can use are engineering and mining tools to fight of monsters, which leads into pretty hectic and creative combat game play.
