Damn..that was one epic comeback by Miami. Feels good to be a fan of the Heat

Looks like its 2006 all over again...wonder how this will play out.

Dallas won the regular season series against Miami, 2-0, and has been 10-0 against Miami since the 2006 Finals.

As the Heat-Bulls series has just proved, regular season wins don't mean much during the playoffs. And this Heat team is obviously not the same one that Dallas played during the regular season.

I have a feeling the Mavs will prevail. Dirk is playing on a whole new level, and while Miami has more star power than the Mavs, the Mavs have a much more complete team and much more depth and height. And these Mavs seems much more psychologically stronger than the one that collapsed in '06.

DIRK FINALS MVP!

I don't think you guys realize how much easier the Miami offense will have it against Dallas... after playing Boston and Chicago back to back two of the top 3 defensive teams in the league Miami is going to be loving the space they're getting.... and who's the other top defensive team? Oh that's right it's Miami....

Bosh plays Dirk reasonably well, Haslem (along with Posey) did the job in 06, Joel should do alright on him and Lebron is one of the the most versatile defenders in the league and will get his time on Dirk as well. Dirk has struggled against smaller and more active guys before.. Haslem and Posey in 06 and Captain Jack in 07...

OTOH who's going to stop Lebron, Wade and Bosh? You only have one Marion.

First blood to Miami. The Big Three all delivered. Nowitzki didn't have enough allies, Miami certainly kept them under wraps.

But this series doesn't really start until someone wins an away game.

Another strong closing effort from the Heat -- this time spearheaded by Wade.

If there was an X factor that made a reasonable, unexpected difference in this game, it was probably Chalmers. 12 points in limited time is a good effort. That would be what Dallas would have hoped to get out of Barea, but Miami really kept him out of the game.

I want this to be a back and forth series, what's the finals without some excitement?

Chalmers hit some big 3s and Haslem and Miller chipped in nicely as well with 13 points and 11 boards combined.

Amazing game, that's what I'm talking about. 15 point deficit overcome in 4 minutes by Mavs.

Wow what a game!!!!

I'm kinda going for the Heat, but I like Dallas too...I was concerned it might be a sweep if Miami won in a blowout, now it's a series!! It's going 7 folks, sit back, relax, and enjoy a non-Kobe, great basketball classic Finals!

I wasn't able to watch the game but I got anxious when I saw Dallas cut Miami's big lead late on my phone.

Guys need to step up in Game 3.

Nice comeback by the Mavs. Nowitzki was really clutch in the last couple of minutes during the 4th and it paid off for them.

Ouch! Miami needed that win to position themselves better for the three straight games at Dallas. Now Miami needs to win two of three in Dallas to maintain the upper hand, a tough chore.

While I think the Mavs (especially Nowitzki, Terry, & Kidd) deserve a ring with this probably being their last shot and Miami is definitely going to be back multiple times in the next four or so years, I would rather see Miami win so maybe all the LeBron hate may die down a bit. Sports fans take this shit too personally sometimes (I admit to being guilty of that too). Plus Miami have couple of older guys that may not be there in the coming years that I think deserves a ring as well in Bibby, Mike Miller, and Ilgauskas.

Edit: Man, Dallas picked a wrong time to go make it to the Finals. If the Mavs win, it's not going to how they won, but rather how Miami didn't win. That's going to suck.
