Just wondering if this spin-off is canon? Since Kawahara is the author and I remember the names Glass Monarch and Aluminium Valkyrie floating around here.

It should be canon. Aluminium Valkyrie has been included in the metal colour chart up to V13.

I know this is gonna be a stupid question but hell, I'll ask it anyways. Does the spin of manga have any relevance to the original series/LN?

None whatsoever, the main LN plot never mentioned events in this spinoff.

Well it takes place like 1-2 years after the main story so I doubt it has anything to do with KYH's past. Well we'll see if the stories Chiaki's been told about KYH come to play at all. I mean this is 2047 and main story is 2046 right?

Actually, it is concurrent to the main story. Starting from Vol. 3, they went up a grade which makes 2046 become 2047. So the side story occurred around the same time at the start of volume 3.

I am more interested how will the main heroine of magisa will react to our main hero... Shock would be an understatement especially that Haru is BL's child.

Nah, considering most BB players don't know SC's RL form is completely different to the tall & lanky BB avatar. She'd probably just think as expected of Lotus to pick out a Child that has a unique ability in all of AW.

I don't think KYH needs the competition. She has to deal with Rin and the ever teasing Fuuko. I am guessing AV would be AW's Kuroko. Just replace crush with idol admiration.
