@ Fraility there must be any other way to hide the cut of the render than this bluring at the bottom, maybe maybe reducing th eheight of the sig ?
@Katocchi I am not too hot for the ''Sayonara'' over her hair, ( mostly because the text is of the same color as the hair)

@LKK I focus even more on the render and the flame by shortening the sig at the left.

I added more stuff to my background this time and renforced others than wa already present. C&C would be welcome.

Yes, it was. The streams in the right half around Kazuma were a light teal blue (similar to the overall tint color which I picked from the original) to indicate his wind power. But for this sig, I'm pretending those are also part of the flames. I think doing that makes more sense when the picture stands alone & cropped like it is.

I've been thinking that myself. That version was just a demo I did for myself to get a quick basic idea of how I want things to look, to figure out how to get the look I wanted, and to make sure it qualified. It definitely needs refinement.

Teachinally its just gray with reds; this issue here is I suppose the limitations of the highlight color. "Does it need to be a solid color? a single tone?" things like this.

I was suspecting a bit that you tried to give me the devil's own job of either proving it doesn't fit the rules or explaining why I don't reject it.

I'll quote myself...

You're also allowed to use one highlight color to accent one or more details on your entry. The color can be blended to the rest of the entry but basically just one color outside of the general shade scale is allowed.

Single tone was the intent and looking at the other posted entries that's how people seem to have understood it, even as the definition evidently wasn't clear enough. The two rejected ones were rather honest mistakes than anything else. It's quite easy to forget to recolor or desaturate a layer if you're working with colored stocks and photoshop filters that produce a colored result.

Either way it seems that the vast majority got the point of the theme and I really rather not police the thread any more than I already have. I'm glad to see people taking full advantage of the theme. Not so thrilled about the idea of this turning into a contest how thin you can stretch the rules. Rises the question why is this theme so horrible, since haven't seen such in the past contests.

@ Endrance .. Font choice is poor. And it would be much better if its part of the sig itself rather then just snucked in at a corner.

@Periwinkle: I like it but it looks very bright to me, the white of the bg and her legs kinda blends together.

@Endrance: Fix the text its covering your border. I know pink is Rider's hair color but its almost too pink in the sig, maybe a darker shade. I do like what you highlighted with it though.

Ok vers 2 since it appears most people liked the highlighted bg vers. Made the bg color a bit more obvious but Im afraid its too much...also tried out some text. Not loving it, Im not sure what text is good for Gin-sama
