Here's an excerpt from Wikipedia: Shin Hakkenden (神八剣伝?) is a Japanese anime series. The anime is based on The Hakkenden except it is set in the future.[1] Directed by Katsuyoshi Yatabe, the anime's 26 episodes were broadcast on TV Tokyo between April 3, 1999 and September 25, 1999.

Someone I'm subscribed to on youtube often posts pictures of a very artistic/abstract anime. To be honest, I don't know if they're just drawings from the same artist or from an actual anime. It'd be great if someone could shed some light on this. Here are some of the vids I'm talking about.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fvs0VqWGbO4 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1nkoKyIoFig http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=auvUMaD4AzY http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DlTc1CtGIGs The reason I really want to know is because animes with unique art styles (like the Ef series for example) interest me greatly. |

They are original art by two different artists:
1st one is by Futabayashi, pixiv. And the rest are by Emukami, pixiv or e-shuushuu.

There was this anime I watched quite a while back. I don't remember much about the plot but I remember the protagonist was a college student, I believe, and went out with a girl who was an assistant to a scientist. She was kind of the quite type and she hid from him her working on a certain project from him. I have no idea what the project was but eventually during some testing she dies which he witnesses. Then a girl appears that looks exactly like her but younger and the protagonist gets a bit obsessed with her.
That's all that really stands out in my memory for it, hopefully its enough.

This anime aired in YTV before or around 2000.
It starts off with a man in a futuristic healing mud bath. He then runs to his motorcycle to an airfield and is caught by a higher ranking officer. He controls his jet by using his mind with a special helmet. It's also set in the future. My memory isn't clear, but i really hope to get this anime. It's been forever that i wanted to rewatch it. |

Need help identifying an old anime from the most sketchy description.
The primary character is an expert woman assassin sent on assignments by a shadowy agency. Much of the action seems to take place in the tropical jungles. The story also features a book that, when read, drives people insane, often causing them to suicide. Also, lurking against the setting sun of many scenes is a figure, much like a vulture in silhouette, often perched on the overhanging and moss- covered branches. The assassin, while expert, seems often empathetic to the victims. Thanks so much for any help... This one is bugging me... Last edited by Elston3; 2011-09-15 at 20:36.
