Is anyone thinking of subbing Ohran High School Host Club and Girls High?

Not much on Girls High yet but the manga is licensed by Dr Masters

Doremi is thinking about doing Ohran High School club, since crying yuri tendencies action anime is starting to tire us lately. Time to bring in the yaoi and the Maaya Sakamoto awesomeness from BONES.

Maceart, you didn't want to touch Ouran with a ten foot pole, until I slapped some sense into you. You still weren't persuaded until I showed you that the director of Doremi is also directing this.

We (Yoroshiku) will be picking up Joshikousei (Girl's High) once we have found a translator willing to do it. The translator we use at the moment is far too busy =D

I'd like to do girl's high ... but I wouldn't bet on us doing it. We will be doing Nana though and maybe Baldr force exe. As for other stuff... we're not decided yet.

PS: I can't wait to see ohran host club, it looks like honey and clover!

Crayon Shin-chan is licensed, however, there will be no widespread distribution. It once aired subtitled on Hawaiian cable, that is all that was done with it. Then again, maybe the license expired by now...

I don't think anyone's doing fan subs anymore of the series I'm crazy about,
" Kyouryuu Boukenki Jura Tripper ". Someone once did VHS fs's for ir, but they seem to have disapeared. I'd love to see this done. It's a fun 39 episode tv series from '95 - '96. It was released in Germany under the title "Der Planet der Dinosaurer".

I'll happily provide laserdiscs... :3 and help in any way possible. I know at least 10 people who would like to see it, mostly because I keep yakking about it. XD

The best way you could get this done is to learn to time and encode yourself. That way all you really need is a translator. It's not that hard to do the basics of both, and you can learn the refinements as you go.

The VHS Jurassic Tripper fansubs were done by David Seid. You can find his contact info here

You could try getting in touch with him and convincing him to provide you with scripts so you could release digital fansubs of the episodes he fansubbed. This would probably make it easier to find someone to continue the series. Or maybe Doc Seid himself would be interesting in joing the digital fansubs bandwagon with you, starting a group.
