its deeper then that.
prior to WWI, the whole concept of Nationalism didn't really exist in the Arab world.
religion wasn't simply a belief system, it was an identity.
you weren't Egyptian, or Syrian, or Saudi, or whatever, but a Muslim.
you might be a Muslim from one praticular area or clan, but your primary "national" identity was the Islamic one rather then the national one.

past WWI, with the collapse of the Ottoman empire, many new countries were created, but all of them were basically created by the UK and France dividing territory as they see fit, and putting in power those allies who helped them during WWI.
over the next few decades, many countries underwent revolutions (Egypt, Iraq, Syria, etc) but in other countries (Jordan, Saudi arabia, etc) those same regimes still exist today.
even the countries that DID undergo revolutions, never really developed much of a national identity, partly owing to the very notion of "national identity" being an artificial one in the middle east.

and if the national identity didn't replace the religious one, then it was only a matter of time until the old ways reared their ugly heads.

Obama administration joins critics of U.S. nonprofit group that oversees Internet

"The California nonprofit organization that operates the Internet's levers has
always been a target for such global heavies as Russia and China that prefer the
United Nations to be in charge of the Web. But these days, the Internet
Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers is fending off attacks from a
seemingly unlikely source: the Obama administration."

Financial terrorism suspected in 2008 economic crash

"Evidence outlined in a Pentagon contractor report suggests that financial
subversion carried out by unknown parties, such as terrorists or hostile nations,
contributed to the 2008 economic crash by covertly using vulnerabilities in the
U.S. financial system."

also... every state which has a nightmarishly messed up debt has huge problems trying to fund its exponentially-expanding union-employee pension fund. Nearly all are blue states, go figure. It will soon be the job of every worker in the state's sole purpose to pay taxes to fund people who retire at 2/3 or better pay for life after 20 years of employment
So Texas is a blue state with an "exponentially-expanding union-employee pension fund?" Who knew?

That sounds like a huge stretch. I'd believe that the crash was contributed to/orchestrated by the Wall Street bankers sooner than believe that it was "terrorists".

Tear gas is nothing when you consider how there's a borderline civil war in Libya, with actual gunfighting taking place there on some occasions. As baldeofdarkness said, they were lucky that's all they got.

They have always been shooting and torturing their own people seen Khomieni. He uses religion to keep his citizens in check, oil money to bribe them into submission while demonising US to make himself feel good.

Ahmadinejad and Khamieni, his lackeys, lack sufficient diversion from the other side of the world after the Cold War ended, so US culture flowed into Iran. They are simply fearful of losing their power over the people, and the exploitations they stand to gain from Iran's oil money - so they are very likely to use force again. The tear-gas, as usual, is only the beginning.

So what happens after the Middle Eastern countries run out of oil? Does the West, Russia, and China tap their own reserves they haven't really been using all that much in the last 60 or so years and leave the Middle East to rot?
