kind of feel like i'm doing this often so sorry ahead of time

finally got around to reading this series 1-129 or whatever these past few days and then noticed today that it has an anime up to 19

so is this anime good? is it loyal? much filler?

i did glance at an online stream of 18 quick just to see if anything i recognized and noticed that where it was manga wise and from that quick glance could see it does cover at least manga in some sense. it was the 1000 cranes/shrine scenes, where that wierd demon kills local shrine gods.

and if good, and worth it, what sub group do you suggest?

New alternate dvd cover and bromide voice download card:

well, the dvd logo finally confirms that those Tsurara-focused covers are indeed alternate dvd covers for all Tsurara-philes who want to line their shelves with nothing but Tsurararara.

Not really that pleased with the changes from the manga in this weeks episode. Mainly because i found this part in the manga was pretty damn well executed, and not so much here. Ah well.

What changes were there between the anime & the manga?

Hm, that change doesn't sound too significant to me. So it must have been more in how the manga handled it that made you prefer it to the anime version.

There's a lot more then just that change, a lot more. I just don't want to get into it, because this isn't the thread to discuss the manga.

I guess it's my dislike to how this arc has been handled since it began, and has nothing to do with me having read the manga first. More focus on side characters is nice, though it's at a pretty high cost.

Agreed. I was just curious for a quick summary.
I'll find out more when the manga gets its US release & I start reading it.

There is nothing wrong to compare anime and manga as long the episode had covered the material you mention. It isn't spoiler after all.

For me Hitotsume pisses me off the most.

It's already been mentioned a lot changed for the Inugami battle.

Well, at least now we know Yura's specifics: 1.43meters, 34kilograms. Now just need the three sizes.

Well, I officially have no idea what they're planning to do with the manga plot anymore seeing how loosely they're following it now. I guess that's good cause now I can look forward to whatever things they have in store and hope for the best. I like how they handled Inugami overall so far, and that was a neat touch to show his spine, muscle, tissue and fur regrowing when he reattached his head.

DVD Volume 5:

The covers definitely look much better when there's more than one character present. Imo, Day & Night Rikuo should have just shared the same cover while plain old Kana could be with one of the Kiyojuji fellas.

I agree with that opinion... but with a director who ships RikuoxKana, this Cover Art ain't really such a surprise :P

Tough I hope for the alternative to be Yuki and N.Rikuo... or RikuoxYura and the later one ()manga readers know for which episodes to be RikuoxYuki as it would be nice to have Rikuo with every of the girl from his harem (that just recently in manga might have grown to 4)

With the huge Yuki-fest going on with the alternate covers, I find it more likely for all 8 of them will be nothing but cosplaying Yuki-Onna lol. Also, 3 more dvd covers left, one of them had better be Kubinashi x Kejourou, or at the very least have them both present or heads will roll (or be strangled).
