If you meant her getting caught by Caster and Rin saving her in the anime, that didn't happen in the visual novel. It is an anime original addition.

how did the curse affect kiritisugu and eventually kill him? in f/sn last episode shirou said "dad had to endure this for years?" was he tortured in his head by the dead spirits and what not? details if possible pls

After Saber destroyed the grail in F/Z and gets sent back to that limbo state, is she conscious the entire time up until she gets summoned again? Or does time freeze for her until she gets summoned again? That would suck to have to wait 10 years...

There should be virtually no time between when Fate/Zero ends and Fate/Stay Night begins, as far as Saber is concerned.

That being said, she was able to handle the loss of the holy grail in the last war remarkably well at the beginning of FSN.

Based on the anime, there is a bit of time that passes. However, it's hard to gauge exactly how long that is. She seems to come to after FZ after the battle at Camlann, while she comes to after FSN right before she dies.

If we assume when she comes to is remotely close to when she gets "taken", then it's probably only a couple of hours at most. After all, she's fatally wounded in that battle, it's day time when she awakes in FSN, and likely dawn when she awakes in FZ.

Not sure what you mean by no time difference as F/SN occurs 10 years later. Unless you mean just for Saber when she gets sent back, in which case I'd like to know why that is. What makes time for her different than the real world that a few hours = 10 years?

Just Saber. And the difference is it's basically time travel. The Throne of Heroes cares not for past, present, or future.

I see, makes sense. However, I thought Saber wasn't inducted into the Throne as she isn't dead.

She isn't, but the Throne still determines the Servant. The World is just using it as the instrument to put her into the Holy Grail War as Servant Saber.

How come in F/Z after destroying the grail Saber gets sent back to the top of the battlefield hill and not the forest in F/SN where she was about to die? That is where she made the pact with the world before she was about to die so you would think that the forest location would be where she gets sent back to, not the hill.

Spoiler for Saber's circonstances:

Because of her contract, basically every time she fails to obtain the Grail she is sent on top of that battlefield. And from there into another Grail war ( or another reality ). And that loop go on and on until finally she either obtain it or abnegate it. The only time she return to that forest is in Fate route ( becasue she renounced the Grail there after Shirou convinced her to accept her own destiny ), for all others she basically start over - each time with only memories from Fate/Zero happenings.

On the hill, which is the reason why she is put back there every time.

One thing I still don't get is that after Saber made the pact with the world, what happened to her body in the real world? Making the pact prevented her death, but time still passes in the real world. Did her body get transported somewhere?

No, her body is still at the hill, since this contract means she can try to get the Grial over and over until she finally gets it. So is kind of a time loop, for her the time of her death never comes until the contract is complete.

Actually, I am pretty sure that she fell unconscious at the hill after making contract and that Bedivere took her dying body after that and transported her to the forest. Where she woke up in the end in Fate route and made his final order - to throw Excalibur in the lake.

Since time has no meaning in the afterlife, what has been Fate/Zero and Fate/Stay Night for her could be just minuted to Bedivere in that time period.

Fate/Zero seems to indicate her original final resting place seems to be at Camlann Hill. At the end of the Fate route she probably got an extension making her able to die at the forest. Because she stopped the cycle and her time continued, her dying at the forest is what we know from the legend.

Before she ended the cycle her final resting place was always on the hill. That is way she got put back there every time.

I wonder what in the Fate/Stay Night universe the legend of King Arthur said about her final resting place? That she died at the hill or at the forest? Would this mean Saber could have discovered she changed her own perceived history and got a "happy" ending if she read her own legend?

Here is Saber's last scene from Fate/Zero which explains how her cycle works.

The traitor who had also inherited her own bloodline, the child of tragedy, Mordred. The entanglement of love and hate had caused her to lose everything, and the scene to be fixed at the instant when she killed her own flesh and blood with her own hands—

The instant in which the awareness of the ‘World’ had come, summoned by wretched and tormented cries, and established the contract with the hero who searched for a miracle—

This was the prison that forever bound Arturia, who had lost her time.

Within time that had lost its meaning, within an instant that was equivalent to eternity, she gazed upon the battlefield under the light of dusk, and waited for the next summoning.

She was always right; this she firmly believed in. Even thus, she had still overlooked the spark that had caused the tragedy before her eyes, just like she had overlooked Lancelot and Guinevere’s pain.

She could not figure it out, and she did not understand why she could not figure it out—this was the limit of the king Arturia.

In that case, could it be that the terrible scene on Camlann was not any trick of fate, but the necessary result of the king Arturia’s rule?

She remembered those long and distant days. She remembered the girl who had never paid attention to the men as they contested each other in the noisy arena, and had instead faced, alone, the sword stuck in the stone.

The memories had long since blurred; even though the tears obscured her sight, she could not remember.

In that case—her mistake must have been made that day.

She let the tears run freely down her face. In this place where time did not run, no matter what she thought or what she did, it would not be recorded in history. Here, she did not need to place on herself the title of King. In that case, it mattered not if she showed weakness; it mattered not if she showed shame.

With these thoughts, she faced the ideals that had not been fulfilled; she faced the people who had not been saved.

She faced everything that had vanished because she was king.

Though she was choked to the point where she almost could not speak, she still could not control the impulse to apologize. Though she understood that her apology could not be conveyed to anyone’s heart, the girl nevertheless repeated her regret.

"I’m sorry… sorry… I, someone like me…”

One day, after stepping over endless battles, she would finally obtain the Grail. A that time, all the mistakes that she had made, could be erased through a miracle.

As she was now—she should not be called a king.

Before the next time she was summoned, the girl would always— within the instant that was called forever, within the censure that was called eternal rest—weep and regret.

Enduring torment in eternal punishment. Feeling cowardice toward sins that could not be repaid.

Thanks for sharing that, so it's like that in the end....

This pretty much confirms that all F/SN routes are canon and happened but in different universes as she would always return and try again until she obtain Grail or break the contract. Talking about bad luck... with F/SN it's 3'rd luck the charm eh?
