Where did it say that? Rankers are by definition those who made it to the top of the tower. They're not allowed near regulars. White had already lost his power before he was split since his defeat, so even if Hoaquin pulls himself together, he won't be as strong as he was.

Honestly Hoaquin isn't as impressive as he seems, so what if he was the Slayer for FUG. So far all we know of them is that their leader is the the 15th ranked character in the tower, and Baam's guardian is in the top ten. Hoaquin probably wont be much higher than the leader if even that high, while its implied that Baam has the potential to surpass Zahard. So to me Baam beating Hoaquin wouldn't be that out of the realm of possibility.

Just looked into FUG's leader and I like what I see. Looks like a possible ally for Baam.

Hoaquin, yes. White is another story. (And while Baam has potential, he still has a long way to go.)

Whoops I mean Baam's guardian is in the top 100 not ten, although given the ten families tend to be vary of him, he is probably in the top fifty rather than the bottom.

At this point it is starting to look if that the merge, unless Hoaquin has some major ass pull of his own that forces the others to merge with him. Vicente doesn't seem like he would join voluntarily at any point, so I wonder if maybe if the get a majority it forces the merge, or all of them have to agree.

Koon is smart. He would probably had backup plan or something and I'm still waiting for that relative of his (the small lightning brat) to show up. When I saw the hooded one beside Kusano?(the devil arm guy) I thought it would be the lightning kid. Infiltrating the enemy ranks to kill devil arm guy but then again, they would at least look on who is hiding behind the hood to accept them into their ranks.... they aren't that dumb right?
