They always overdo it, in every anime series. Honestly, it does more harm than good but it's not it'll change anytime soon, so no sense in harping a lot.

Oh, its sad the thing about the animation but I read some post even comparing a screenshot of Touma's face with Kaiji's face and the overall animation with Minami-ke . Things are getting scary.

It seems the new people can't estimate the correct chin height.

I mean they still relatively look the same.. but I can't help to nitpick as these things are really standing out for me.

Episode 8 is probably the best we're going to get this season. (In terms of animation quality.)

I actually, last night, found a way to get rud if the thoughts of bad animation.

1)download the eps 9-11.
2)either put on a travel drive and watch on your XBOX or PS3
3)Or burn on a CD.

The Celtic Cross didn't glow or explode. It was Oriana's attack that left her in that state, not the cross itself.

Himegami isn't dead. That's why Stiyl is helping Komoe with the healing spell Index taught her from season 1, because there's still a chance to save her.

at this point the series should be done, it would be about revisions, but if that yume merry dream or hoever is called the new anime from jc gets the same priority as OYZ

Wait a minute, what did the production interviews say about the choice to cast Emi Shinohara as Mikoto's mother? It seems like a big "seiyuu joke," since Emi Shinohara was the "Dengeki Hime" (Electric/Lightning Princess) of the 1990s in her role as Sailor Jupiter, and is now portraying the mother of another "Dengeki Hime," except of this generation (the 2000s).

And does the light novel say anything about Mikoto's father? Or was she artificially conceived?
