Pretty sure relatives of Ah Duo's chief lady-in-waiting, who knew nothing of what she got up to in the Rear Palace and weren't complicit in any way, got executed.

IMO, the rule of the thumb is that empires anywhere/anytime are "hardcore", of course, it is reasonable that mass executions to be removed from records (or never put on one to being with) because that kind of things may make them look like the bad guys and any empire worth its salt must control the narrative, they are justice, they are heavenly and anyone saying otherwise will see hell on earth >_<

Fenmings relatives were not executed. They got barred from any relationships with palace and received different degree of punishment but it was losing some bones at worst according to the books at least (similar how Luomen got his knee broken as a punishment when he was exiled from the palace). The servants with ties to a family were just exiled.

In this case the offence is more severe but there is no reason to kill the servants who were just following orders and were unaware of the actual plan. Maybe the head maid, who seem to be at least partially aware. All main clan members,will be executed for sure though.
