anyone knows the size of the digital download? i'll get that as a last resort if i can't get my
dirty hands on the limited edition or if it's too expensive.

Only fall 2014. More info will follow. If I had to guess I would say November. Burst was also released in November.

The japanese version was 1.9 GB iirc. But there is also DLC like extra characters, costumes, etc.

This is definitely my year for gaming for the Vita. Conception II, Dangan Ronpa 01 & 02, Demon Gaze etc. I'm so pre-ordering this when it's becomes available too. I definitely like the sound of the "Let's Get Physical" retail version. My boner Vita will be ready at that time.
