And they're baaack!!! there new costumes and transformation is as ridiculous as ever! At-chan and Kin-chan were adorable! Overall, good premiere!

I couldn't watch the entire episode yet (I got interrupted and then couldn't continue

), but I'm pretty bummed that Kinshirou & Co. have been put on a bus as I had feared. I hope they'll be back eventually...

Now that I managed to watch the episode... awww, yes, that's the Boueibu I love.

(Oh dear god, Yumoto's transformation. Oh dear god, the new costumes.) I'm sad that the Seifukubu won't be around, but other than that the episode was pretty much perfect. The twins look like perfect season 2 villains.

And the first monster was Ishida Akira again... Will the next one be Katsuyuki Konishi?

After watching Shounen Maid, their costumes look like something that Madoka would have designed

So happy to have this show back to laugh at the parody of mahou shoujo tropes and shows.

I thought I would enjoy this (because I liked the 1st season) but I fell asleep after half of the ep. Will give it another try.

Hell yeah, 2nd season of "It's not homo, they're just really good friends comfortable around each other" is here! And it got a great start with a new villain (who obviously wants another galaxy wide TV show about destroying earth and having others defend it, I mean, that was the reasoning in the finale in the 1st season, wasn't it?), teach still being dead and lots of weird talks in the Hot bath. Well and some At-chan x Kin-chan shipping now that they are friends again. xD

Episode 2

Man, the show has really upped its game. This was again a great episode, and the twins are just perfect, a great riff on second (third, etc.) season magical girl villains with visuals that are right on point. The Boeibu's meta musings were great as well, the Tofu Monster was awesomely ridiculous, and I even got to hear Yasumoto Hiroki's cute voice. (And was that Hoshi Souichirou? ahahaha) The love hotel joke worked great, too.

Ah, here comes Konishi Katsuyuki.

Irritatingly self-absorbed narcissist monster was funny (hey, who invited Karamatsu?). This was a cute episode, not as hilarious as the previous ones, just cute, although it had funny moments. All throughout I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop, but it never did... apparently the joke is that both Yumoto and Goura are really brocon.

I think the shoe that dropped was that we finally know what the twins are after. A little brotherly love it looks like. I bet they were fans back when big bro was the star of the show.

To be honest, I'm also a bit speechless after this episode. I mean anything I could say would just ruin the perfection...

I mean, from the moment when the younger Italian twin mentioned his insecurity I knew where it was going, but I never expected something quite like this.

Anyway I guess the twins are fans of Goura, and brotherly love is going to be a theme in the series.

I'd say that Koyasu Takehito probably adds the chest hair rants to his list of "things I never expected to have to say" but... it is Koyasu Takehito, so maybe it wouldn't make the top 10 of that list...

Also: relevant.
(I couldn't find a clip from the actual episode, but the end of this ED is almost as good.)

So it appears I'm the only one left watching this show, but oh my god this episode. Oh my dear (deer?) god.

This might just be the best episode so far, and that's saying a lot, in season 2. The "sasowareteshimatta!" song was just the best thing ever, and at this point I'm starting to think the twins are actually just huge closet Goura otaku and don't have a life.

(Although no Christmas present exchange will be the same after the Osomatsu-san Christmas Special.)
