Could someone provide a brief summary? Heard that it has a great plot, but that it has a tragedy in (which I'd like to know).

It would be a lot of spoilers. Just remember that all 6 main charas have serious psychological problems because of their past

Maybe not for Yumiko, but for the others, yeah... Let's just say in someway, it makes the past of Batman villains looks tame.

as far I remember, yumiko has also dark past. problems with her father and her mother. and in her house.

He probably mean that although Yumiko is the most strange on the outside she has the least serious problems.

if I were to compare gnk to another iit would be great teacher onizuka,kokoro connect,fmp. main protag is like tatsuya but more hilarious

Basically a super knowledgable, book-nerd, Kung fu fighting, running in the morning, funny, sociable, siscon, secret agent protagonist is put into a high school with a self proclaimed tsundere girl, a maid girl that does whatever you want, a extremely perv-y big boob wifey onee-sama, a rich "kuudere" girl and plus another girl. So hilarity ensued. Common route is basically your everyday slice of life and harem stuffs while the drama and action part is reserved on their respective routes. My favorite route is the extremely perv-y big boob wifey onee-sama due to her wifey-ness and my favorite heroine is the rich "kuudere" girl because being kuudere and aloof along with silky long black hair hit every part of my favorite heroine's traits.

There no tragedy unless you get hit with that particular bad ending, rest of the bad endings compared to that one isn't even like a bad ending at all.

Coincidentally that I just read the VN recently, and currently finished the 2nd routes, I must say this is one of my most favorite VN among all that I've played. The happy ending isn't exactly dream like happy either. It has that realistic touch that reminds you not everything will work out like a perfect happy story. I guess that's why something stuck on my mind forever.

Can't say this will work as an anime, though. I don't put my hope too highly into this show, and hopefully it won't be another Demonbane.

Also, the OST is a wonder to the ear.

My plot synopsis:

Kazami Yuuji is a boy (honestly a man) with a dark past intertwined heavily with crime and the military. Having decided that he wants something more in life, he enrolls at Mihama Academy. Which, prior to his arrival had only five female students. Each girl has their own individual problems and reasons for their existence at Mihama Academy (much like Yuuji). As he adapts to high school life (and general peace) he comes to know these five and the traumas they each face.

To summarize each route is honestly way to spoiler-y. I can broadly say though that the routes touch heavily on the themes of family, death and the various types of human cruelty.

no, the time just past for the pv to show at comiket. now it's the matter of when the Pv will show up in the internet although I heard it's it's already out. whoever has a twitter account ask this english speaking grisaia fan who is attending the event if can take pictures/record video of the pv.

Edit: meh, better than nothing

so the pv was actually shown before sunday.other things I heard is that Amane will be the main heroine and the anime will be split cour, but still not confirmed yet from official site
